stobbe74 (655), Denmark May 12, 2009 Bottle. Pours a golden beer with a white head. The aroma is fruity and spices. The aroma has fruits, spices and sweetness. Nice complex palate, and overall a nice beer. MrPickles (108), Wisconsin, USA May 11, 2009 B-Day bottle thanks to a friend. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick and creamy white head. The aroma is spices, yeast, and oranges. The flavor was full of a zesty and dry mix of spices, yeast, orange and lemon peel, a bit of pepper and maybe a touch of apple. A smooth drinkable beer. jfenglish (198), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 10, 2009 Draft- Tap House. Hazy yellow, light yeasty, citrus aroma. Palate is grass, citus, tart grapefruit, but enough malt to give it some backbone. Lacing is elegant. Bitter, peppery finish. drewaha (16), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 9, 2009 Golden color. Slightly sweet. Perfect level of carbonation. Easy to drink. Refreshing halfonit (423), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA May 9, 2009 Has a very pungent scent. Smell mostly of marijuana with a little skunked malt scent. Taste has a sweeter malt flavor but is missing a little bit of love. Not a bad brew, it’s just lacking something that I just can’t put my finger on. tokyogoat (505), San Diego, California, USA May 7, 2009
Poured a hazy and colorful golden color with a fluffy white head about two fingers high.
Aroma was of yeast and new socks.
Head sticks to the glass as it dissipates.
Tastes starts strong with carbonation, yeast, and citrus, swallow, YUM!
Aftertaste is far nicer than the sip, soaked with vanilla and a little bit of floral. Gypsy19 (603), California, USA May 3, 2009 Pours a copper-gold with a large rising head. I mean very fluffy head. Aroma is generically fruity and only slightly spicy. Flavor is more profound, with authentically Belgian spicyness. Darker fruits and clove also appear. Nice flavor. Palate is spritzy yet a little sticky. Overall, good to very good. Oscbert (531), Sacramento, California, USA May 2, 2009 Updated: Oct 5, 2009~Pours a light golden color with big white consistent head.
~Scent of yeast, clove, and light fruit, lemony.
~Fruity (peachy) sour favor with yeast and spices. Slightly malty and slightly tart.
~Champagne like feel. Light, bubbly, and dry. Alcohol sour finish.
~Enjoyable brew. Scent is lacking a bit, but flavor is very nice. Good looks and good feel.
