COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

Pours hazy yellow gold with a finger and a half of bright white, soapy head. Smells bready and yeasty with citrus notes and a bit of barnyard hay. Tastes very citrusy at first and then with a very little bit of saison funk. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Ommegang Hennepin finishes with a faint dryness and a touch of citrus.

Nice golden color with dense white head. Spicy nose with notes of citrus and a hint of wheat. Spicy flavor, a bit of sharpness and hint of yeast. Finishes clean. A very nice summer refresher

I truly am a fan of this. It’s absolutely fantastic. Full flavored. Refreshing. If there is any brew that I would want to drink on a hot summer day...it would have to be hennepin.

Draft sampled at Magic City Brewfest. Pours slightly hazy golden with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is peppery, spicy, grassy, fairly sweet, some yeastiness. Flavor is light but complex: sweet, pepper and spice, some refreshing Belgian yeastiness and tartness, some citrus. Crisp carbonation. Finishes drier than it starts, but not dry per se.

pours a golden cloudy color, with a extremely fluffy white head. the aroma is strong in banana, coriander, and citrus. the flavor is spicy up front an to the end. with a finish of banana. ( this is my first saison, this is a weird mix for me) the body is extremely light, and refreshing.
