Palate is grass, citus, tart grapefruit, but enough malt to give it some backbone. Lacing is elegant. Bitter, peppery finish. drewaha (16), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2009 Has a very pungent scent. Smell mostly of marijuana with a little skunked malt scent. Taste has a sweeter malt flavor but is missing a little bit of love. Not a bad brew, it’s just lacking something that I just can’t put my finger on. tokyogoat (507), San Diego, California, USA

Poured a hazy and colorful golden color with a fluffy white head about two fingers high.
Aroma was of yeast and new socks.
Head sticks to the glass as it dissipates.
Tastes starts strong with carbonation, yeast, and citrus, swallow, YUM!
Aftertaste is far nicer than the sip, soaked with vanilla and a little bit of floral. Gypsy19 (617), California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 3, 2009 Pours a copper-gold with a large rising head. I mean very fluffy head. Aroma is generically fruity and only slightly spicy. Flavor is more profound, with authentically Belgian spicyness. Darker fruits and clove also appear. Nice flavor. Palate is spritzy yet a little sticky. Overall, good to very good. Oscbert (537), Sacramento, California, USA

~Scent of yeast, clove, and light fruit, lemony.
~Fruity (peachy) sour favor with yeast and spices. Slightly malty and slightly tart.
~Champagne like feel. Light, bubbly, and dry. Alcohol sour finish.
~Enjoyable brew. Scent is lacking a bit, but flavor is very nice. Good looks and good feel. nickd717 (1330), Palo Alto, California, USA

Aroma is sweet malt, light fruits, yeast, and a little mild funk. Flavor is malt, earth, spices, light fruits, and mild hops. Not bad but would like a little more to it. Fairly high carbonation, crisp and refreshing. hanihotdog (14), blah, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 26, 2009 just had a large bottle of this beer... It poured a beautiful hazy golden color. The carbonation is evident in the pour... the bubbles were huge!!! not quite in the coke category, but close!!! The smell is sweet and fruity, with slight whiff of yeast, alcohol, and hops. The flavor starts spicy then turns light citrus/yeasty and finishes very dry (almost like a bottle of merlot)... The high carbonation/ light body makes this beer very crisp and drinkable for such a high abv.. def try again any chance I can get!!!
