4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours orange with plenty of white head. Tastes of fruit and a bubblegum after taste. Thin body but the alcohol is very noticable.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle: Pale golden, hazy, monsterous white rocky head, lovely lacing.   Musty aroma, basement, subtle spices.   Peppery flavor, soft witbier spices of corriander and orange peel, slightly floral.   Very enjoyable body, medium to full mouthfeel.   Yeasty finish, lingering spices.   Not as dry or floral as those from Belgium, but very tasty regardless.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cloudy golden orange in color. Noticeable fizz refueling the head, which is a fluffy, 1/2" thick creamy joy. Great lacing. Aroma is bananas, yeast and pepper. Some wafts hint at wet socks coming out of an old leather shoe. Very good flavor - citric shine, effervescent and souring. Lemon meringue pie and crackled black pepper. A little thinning on the finish, but otherwise a damn good saison.

Poured dark cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma: honey, yeast, banana, cloves, peach, lemon, and orange. The flavor is lightly fruity with a strong breadlike body. Very smooth and tasty.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
A true Hall of Famer from Cooperstown--a real tasty Belgian in every respect except the passport. A very ethereal opening leads to a solid, yeasty, hoppy Tripel base... Excellent, a winner

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
750ml bottle I picked up at Brewery Ommegang in February 2003. (This review fromAugust 2003)
A fine appeance, looks even better than it tasted, A luminescent gold but cloudy. It has a thick white head, even with a gentle pour. Smells spicy (ginger or coriander) and hoppy with a hint of apple. Tastes alternately sour and fruity (depending on where it’s hitting the palette) with that ginger spiciness thrown in. Quite the hoppy aftertaste but not unpleasantly so. Aftertaste really lingers. Has a foamy mouthfeel with a medium body. For such a complex ale, it is very drinkable. I would have to say this is my favorite Ommegang product I’ve tried thus far.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured into the official Hennepin glass that I scored at BrewFest last week. Its head clung to the sides of the glass like a southern bells damp dress on a hot Alabama day. The carbonation is steaming upward intensly. What a beautiful beer. The smells and taste are almost as good. I continued to play with the foamy head as I sat on my patio finishing the last great drop as the sun went down.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy golden, fluffy lasting white head. The nose held nice notes of spices, apricot, and florals, with slight hints of breadiness throughout. Light peppery hops and fuzzy fruits are intermingled with ease to create a near perfect balance. Great drinker on a warm spring day. Medium bodied, zesty carbonation, crisp, spiced fuzzy fruit finish. Good stuff...
