Feb 24, 2009 750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a clear tarnished gold with a large lasting white head. Aromas of straw, spice, light apple and light pear. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, light spice and a hint of fruittiness with a crisp dry finish.

Feb 23, 2009 This continues with I don’t really appreciate Belgian ales. It was really sweet, in a fruity saccharine kind of way. Heavy flourish of Belgian yeast. I bet this is a great beer, I drank too much and it was weird. Another failed attempt to enjoy an otherwise great style.

Feb 17, 2009 Stunning pour - hazy yellow body with an enormous white head. Lots of yeasty character with strong orange citrus notes and slight spice.

Feb 15, 2009 750ml bottle poured into a tumbler. OH pours very light colored and hazy with a medium-sized head that persists nicely and leaves great lacing. The aroma is yeasty with hops and citrus juice adding character. The body is quite carbonated and causes the beer to glide over the front of the tongue, just allowing a touch of brown grasses or hay to be detected. The beer finally settles down into a very tart finish that can take you unawares at first.

Feb 14, 2009 tastes: tart, citrus, lemon, yeast, bite of bread. Sharp carbonation up front then tart leaving a light metallic yesty aftertaste less metallic as it warms, also more noticable, albeit minute, hop bitterness as the temp raises.

Feb 8, 2009 pale yellow pour with a thick white head. nose of sour yeast, spices and honey. nice on the palate with a flavor of dried fruits, honey, yeast and a very carbonated finish.
