Don Ho would love this brew. Lots of "Tiny Bubbles". Decent "carbonated" head form the pour. Huge carbonation throughout. Slight wheat and lemon aroma. Light gold in color which kind of glows in the correct light. Clean, crisp taste which some slight wheat overtones with a touch of hops and alcohol. Finish is slightly dry with more hops presence but not overdone. A good brew for summertime drinking when it is hot out and you need something to quench the thirst.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very pale in color, huge carbonation with great big white foamy head. Aroma of yeast, wheat and light spice. Smooth tasting and dry on the palate. Has a hops finish, not like an IPA, more subtle. Nice spice flavor that I cannot really pin down. Although I am not overly fond of this style, this is very good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 18, 2006 [re-rate - cloudy yellow-peach color, with frothy white head - aroma is very spicy, with lots of citrus and a gentle maltiness - malty body - a little acidic and off-balance - overall, not nearly as bad as my first rating - a little too bitter] A very dry, thin-flavored beer that tastes somewhat like grapes. The mouthfeel is full of carbonation. Golden body, foamy head.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2008 [over the years, this has become one of my go-to saisons - much cheaper than dupont, but not as good - I’ll buy this when I don’t want to shell out for that beer - for the money, this is the best saison you can buy] A very subtle beer, with a crisp, champaign-like character. Medium-dry and highly carbonated. Notes of apples and pears, with some spice in the back. Clean, slightly alcoholic finish that isn’t very memorable. A decent beer for the style.

Pours a cloudy yellow color, nice fizzy white head that doesn't last. Flowery, spicy and fruity aromas, fruity, yeasty spicy wheaty flavors. Light to medium boby, smooth with no bitterness, finishes light, crisp and dry, pretty damn good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy lemon orange colour, a bit more orange than the Rare vos. . . spicy with more the hops sitting on top of the malty fruits. Amazingly smooth and warming on a cold snowy night.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a muddy yellow with a bright large white head. Aroma of spice and hops. Flavor was pretty good at first, a nice spicy belgian with plenty of malt and hop bitterness. As the brew went on though the alcoholic warmth became overpowering. A very dry alcoholic finish.
