COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

A very impressive beer. interesting mix of sweet and sour tastes. very nice subtle flavors - citrusy and tangy. A gogod comple beer to savor. only complaint is that it is a little thin.

This is quite impressive and complex. Yeasty, musty aroma with sourness apparent. Sweet, malty flavor with yeast again present. Sour notes also noticable. Very light copper color with frothy white head that, unfortunately, did not stick around. Palate is merely average, but everything else about this brew is above average and pleasant. A definite must try.

Lighter than expected, with the sediment micely present. Sharp and assertive; this one grows on you. Love the large serving size, especially for the $$.

One of the finer beers I have tried. Very drinkable with nice flavor.

Good beer. Very yeasty. Fairy sour...but good.

Light colored body, strong head that stays with the beer. Typical strong yeasty malt, but not as flavorful or hoppy as some of my favorite Belgians. Still a well above average beer from a very underrated brewery.

An American saison worthy of the name. This brewery’s best offering.
