Nov 19, 2008 Great bubbly saison. Bottled sample at Wolfgang Puck at the Borgata in Atlantic City. Great fruity flavour. Nicely carbonated.

Nov 1, 2008 On tap at Grumpy’s Roseville (MN).
Clear, light gold color, about a finger’s worth of head. Pleasant fruity aroma of orange, apricot and clover. Smooth palate. Taste is hoppier than I expected for a Saison, but that’s a huge plus in my book!
I first tried it expecting it to be decent to good - right now it’s one of my absolute favorites!

Oct 28, 2008 Aroma is clover, musrhoom and apricot. Appearance is much like a chardonnay as the head quickly fades. Flavor is off-putting with a slightly tart sweetness and a bad sourness that creeps along the fringes. Palate is smooth and full, enjoyable. Overall, this beer is decent with the right food, but I wouldn’t drink one by itself.

Oct 24, 2008 Updated: Apr 6, 2009Bottle at Bishops Arms, Karlstad, Sweden. Pours a hazy golden color with a one finger foam. Aroma is fruity, spicy, slightly yeasty with notes of orange, citrus, apricot, coriander, clove. Flavour is first quite sweet, with a slight fruity sourishness and a decent bitterness. Quite spicy with notes of apricot, citrus, orange, hops. Medium body with quite much carbonation. Not that thin, which is a plus - quite filling acutally. Overall, a nice beer. My first Saison. It reminds me mostly of Belgian tripels and strong pale ales.

Oct 22, 2008 This beer doesn’t look impressive in the glass. But once you taste it you won’t care about its average looks. A surprisingly complex flavor that balances hops with a fruity yeast that is unique and unexpected. Again, looks like Bud Light in the glass but is really a great beer.

Oct 22, 2008 Great beer wild flavors. Great color. Flavors of light fruits (bananas, some pair). Agreeing with most it is pretty close to a hefe but the saison qualties stand out loud. I wouldnt put it over dupont but it is still very very good.

Oct 21, 2008 Pours a soft copper color and smells of sweet fruits. Tasted like well seasoned apricots and belgian style white ale. I’m new to this kind of beer, and willing to try more.
