jkaiser (219), Orlando, Florida, USA Aug 9, 2008 Monster head and lacing!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gorgeous blonde golden color. Mild hoppyness. Aroma of past victories and future love affairs. Awesome flavor, like a white beer but the yeast lends the body of this beer to heights not seen in most American Belgian beers. Simply awesome. gameface23 (131), Haverhill, Massachusetts, USA Aug 7, 2008 Updated: Aug 16, 2008Pours a cloudy straw color with an enormous fluffy white head and lots of bubbles floating up the side of the glass. The smell was yeasty and of spicy wheat. Taste was what was to be expected from the smell. Nice lacing down the glass. drjay44 (758), Salida, Colorado, USA Aug 7, 2008 Huge, frothy, rapidly collapsing head, pale yellow and cloudy, lightish mouthfeel, pleasant hops, minimal spice. Alcohol is nicely hidden. Belgian beer styles are wonderful for their variety and this is a good one. DasGrau (18), Topeka, Kansas, USA Aug 7, 2008 A nice big head. bitter bite and a lovely tasty finish. The liquor store guy gave me this one as a freebee for my opinion and it gets the thumbs up from me! I will be back for more. DarkBeer (47), Ohio, USA Aug 6, 2008 Pours lovely cloudy gold, nice long-lasting head. Aroma is mild and somewhat citrus. Nice body. It likes to be cold. Goes great with summer foods. goldbrew (99), USA Aug 3, 2008 Very good quality saison. Strong piney aroma. The quality is apparent from the pour. Huge everlasting head and fantastic majestic head and color structure in the tulip glass. Solid structure with each sip. It’s a steady progression of the carbonation, the hops, pine, "barnyard" grassy flavor (in best way), pepper and dry finish. Compared to Dupont it seems more assured that you know what you get each time with this bottle. Dupont can be more hit or miss...sometimes for the better but often not. This strikes me as a more consistent drink. Very well done. saxo (3513), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Aug 2, 2008 Bottle. Huge head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet and fruity with a nice amount of hops. douglas88 (1557), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jul 30, 2008 Bottle thanks to Santa. Pours a cloudy orange with a thick and creamy white head. The aroma is spices, yeast, and oranges. The flavor was full of a zesty and dry mix of spices, yeast, orange and lemon peel, tons of pepper and a nice mouthfeel. A solid beer from this brewer.
