Light/medium body and smooth. Good taste is dusty pale malts with salty spices and black pepper. Dries out nicely in the finish. Very good American Saison. durhambeer (1200), Durham, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 7, 2008 750ml bottle. Hazy golden orange pour with light bubbly gauzy white head. Dough and citrus and hops on the nose. More yeasty doughiness on the palate with orange and lemon notes and a bit of spice. Hoppy, and not quite as saison-like as expected. A bit sharp and tangy where I wanted it to be more sour. Solid, though. Bier brauen (210), Bremerton, Washington, USA

A nice ring of lacing with each draw of the Saisons’ nectar. Sweet banana and that distinct belgian yeast aroma. Outstanding! joekinty (263), rockledge, Florida, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 5, 2008 I drank Hennepin because I am interested in brewing Saisons and this seemed like a classic example.
Appearance- Cloudy, straw color with a bit of a creamy head that lasted halfway into drinking the beer.
Aroma - I smelled lemons, and then malty/bready aromas.
Taste - Hennepin is tart, but not sour, which is appropriate for style. It’s a little fruity, but not overpowering. Surly (19), Michigan, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 5, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy light golden. Fizzy large head. Quite carbonated. Smells of light citrus and alcohol. Taste is clean, light with citrus. Very refreshing and would pair well with a seafood dish. CanIHave4Beers (862), Des Moines, Iowa, USA

Pours a lightly hazy brilliant blonde color, with a big loose head that diminishes to a smaller slightly tighter head. Scents range from spicy hops to sweet bannana aromas. The taste is fantasically balanced with dry hop bitterness and some fruity esters. The palate is lightly sharp. A welcome surprise here in Iowa.
