yobdoog (1425), Woodridge NY, New York, USA May 28, 2008 Tap or bottle I always enjoy this beer. Well rounded aroma of spice, bread, malts and some hop bitterness. The taste has more spice characteristics than the aroma but doesn’t linger at all. Slightly crisp and dry finish which is very pleasant. hoptimus (50), Grand Island, New York, USA May 26, 2008 750ml. bottle. Pours a clear, light honey color with a good size white head. The aroma hints at many spices and some fruit. Solid hop presence accompanied by cinnamon, lemon, and other fruit. Spicy dry finish. Very clean and crisp, would have been more refreshing if the finish wasn’t as dry. Overall a nice offering by Ommegang. DKTN (110), Mc Donald, Tennessee, USA May 24, 2008 Bottle, 12 oz. Flavour is crisp and grainy malt with a lemon and orange peel bitterness in a clean finish. bdigital (585), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA May 15, 2008 Bottle: Pale yellow color with a meringue-like white head. Nose hints at lemongrass, spice, subtle farmhouse qualities and the ever-present belgian yeast. Very crisp and refreshing...light malts, spiced citrus, mildly bitter hop notes and finishes on a dry, slightly funked up note.
