COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

12oz bottle poured into brandy glass. Hazy yellow-orange with a thick white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy with some citrus. Taste is clean and bright. Almost no aftertaste to speak of. Mouthfeel is very light and smooth. Would be a terrific summer beer to relax on the lake with.

Bottle. Pours a hazy, pretty gold color with a thick, white head with heavy lacing and heavy carbonation. Sweet, bready aroma with lemon, grapefruit a a little bit of hops. Lightly bitter hops to start but finishes with a bubbly citrus taste. Finish feels like sipping champagne. A lot of citrus in with the hops, making it quite light and refreshing without sacrificing flavor. A delicious beer.

Good beer. I had it after a long workout and it was great. The head was very light almost like a meringue. Crisp flavor and a great color. I’m adding it to my summer beer list.

Has a nice depth of a murky darker shade of yellow complimented with a great think laced head. Even when bearing a thin one, still holds well. Fruity esters of banana, clove, slight alcohol, little hints of cherry, light bread. The flavor was a touch under par from what should have came with the nose. It has a slight over-carbonation. Light esters of banana, spice, clove, very light bread. Slightly dry and lightly bitter with a subtle sweetness that vanishes as quickly as you sipped it. Nothing over the top for its style but discreetly you find yourself enjoying it more and more.

Very nice Saison from a great brewery. The aroma is a little light but youcan detect some citrus fruits mostly lemon, also a slight malt note. Color is a nice light straw with a great belgian lace head. Flavor is a nice balance of spice, sour, and bitterness. High carbonation is nice to see for this style. Very dry as well.

A: Golden straw color, lots of white foam and great lacing. S: Great yeast smell, some light citrus, apple might make an appearance, and a very light funkiness. T: A slight sweetness, some green fruits. Yeast and spice are there as well, adding to the complex taste. M: Medium body, good amount of carbonation for this beer. D: Delicious Saison, well balanced and interesting.

12oz bottle inAbbey, in Deland. I told my girlfriend " I’m choosing your beer2 and asked for that, knowing she loves that saison style and she was delighted by my choice. It was a good way of pleasing her and of getting a chance to taste it while I was having a Westmalle Triple for the first time... The rye saison style was detected by my tastebuds after the citrusy refreshing hopping dominating everything (I know, I’m a pwet pwet poet...). Very enjoyable, easily drinkable, even at 7.7% ABV. Indeed one of the good saison out there...
