Apr 25, 2008 Smells sharp and spicey. Pours a very fizzy foamy golden yellow color with a giant white head. Very light and crisp flavor, very fizzy with a hint of that bitter ommegang flavor to it. Very nice and refreshing.

Apr 21, 2008 Pours a cloudy golden yellow with about a finger of very quickly dissipating stark white head. A strong odor of citrus and spice. A strong taste of citrus with a bitter aftertaste. Very effervescent, but the taste is a little more bitter than the other saisons I’ve tasted. not quite as good as I had anticipated.

Apr 21, 2008 A nice and lively American Saison. Pale Golden body, very clear. Definite candy sugar notes. I’m not totally sure what everyone else is drinking, but there is distinct hoppiness to this. Quite effervescent on the tongue and pleasant hop bitterness all the way through. Would definitely be very nice on a summer day. Oddly, I read the description after my rating and would say that I definitely agree. Very nice rendition.

Apr 21, 2008 Appearance: Pours a cloudy, golden body with a small, white head.
Smell: Aroma of pale malts, candi sugar, spice, some bread dough and a faint, faroff fruitiness.
Taste: Light pale maltiness, a touch of soft wheat, and a surprisingly bit candy sweetness - much more than I’m looking for, really. Splash of sweetened peach juice, a squirt of lemon. Hardly any hop flavor or bitterness. Small pinch of spice. Brief hint of metal. Sour yeastiness on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation.
Drinkability: Argh, I’ve been shot in the face with disappointment.

Apr 20, 2008 12oz bottle. Pour is very nice, hazy honey golden color with a nice white head atop with strong lacing. Nose is mild spices, hops, and slight citrus. Body is crisp, lively and medium/thin. Notes of alcohol, mild citrus, yeast, and spice. Somewhat bland actually.
