Also has some sweet citrus flavor in there and a touch of hops. Abv is noticed. I’ll have to get this again and re-rate it. austone (1036), Turku; Pori, Finland
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 9, 2008 Light golden, thick rocky head. Spritzy citric nose, yeast and tart wheat. Flavor is wheat & yeast, some fruits & hops. Alcohol shows a bit too much. Medium bodied, strongly carbonated palate. Too alcoholic and clean for the style. MatSciGuy (630), Rosemount, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Apr 8, 2008 [draft] Pours a clear straw gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is a lot of banana, a little bit of yeast, and other fruity smells. Flavor matches the aroma. Very light and refreshing in the mouth and very easy to drink. It just doesn’t have the funkiness of many of the other beers of this style, but it is a great brew nonetheless. gsteph (263), knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Beautiful hazy golden pour, a little lighter around the edges. Huge white pillowy head. Very effervescent. Nose is inviting. Spring flowers, yeast, cloves, hay and white fruit. Flavors of apples, pears, white grapes, subtle coriander and clove, homemade bread, and splash of lemon perhaps. Very crisp and fresh. Flavor palate, although expressive, is not "in your face", very laid back. Great body and smooth finish. A little more sweet than I was expecting but great nonetheless. The appearance is a good copper color, the flavor is incredible which will turn your palate upside down, overall fantastic, you won’t mind paying the $12 a bottle or up to $28 at some restaurants. satan165 (562), River Grove, Illinois, USA

Hazy pale yellow color, white head. Very fruity, sweetish, slightly hayish and papery hoppy aroma. Sweetish fruit sugar flavor, alcoholic, some pepperness. This is American style saison - too sweet for my liking.
