BEERGUY007 (206), Scotia, New York, USA Mar 14, 2008 Updated: May 18, 2008Very light in color, huge head. Had it in a tulip glass which helped. Fruity. This is not my favorite style but it was good. Reminds me a lot of Deus. Syd (888), Waconia, Minnesota, USA Mar 13, 2008 750 pours a crystal clear yellow with a large sticky head and some lace. The aroma is of some wild yeast, lemon, and some spice. The flavor is middle of the spectrum malt, some sweetness, lemon here and there, some funk - not enough, some hops, sour in the finish and linger. The palate is nice and cleansing and crisp. Overall, I’m sort of underwhelmed by this. thill25 (216), Orlando, Florida, USA Mar 12, 2008 12 oz..poured a golden yellow w/ frothy, white head. Aroma of citrus (lemon), spice, banana, yeast...Tasted like citrus, white grapes, and sweet bread. I was surprised it didn’t have many earthtones... Moderately carbonated, alcohol disguised well, very light mouthfeel. Easy to drink, and very refreshing. Great Florida summer beer...Can’t wait to purchase more. antibeersnob (29), Maryland, USA Mar 10, 2008 750ml Bottle. Pours bright yellow, tall thick snow white head. Spicy aroma typical of Saison style. Alcohol not prevelant in the mouth, nice crisp beer.
I will try and imitate this brew at home, I like it. allfreej (358), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Mar 8, 2008 Bottled. Poured yellow, bright rocky white head, good lace, slightly cloudy. Aroma is fruit, yeast, lemons, floral. Flavor is tart, spicy, sfot malt, hop biiter, well-balanced and refreshing. Mouthfeel is light to medium, carbonated, balcned with a dry, slightly tart finish. jredmond (1015), New Jersey, USA Mar 8, 2008 Updated: Sep 13, 200912 oz bottle. Pours a light hazy orange. Aroma is spice and citrus. Taste is very good - citrus, spice, and yeast. ::: Second sampling with Pat. This is similiar to the first time I tried it however there is a more dominant flavor of alcohol - that stings the mouth slightly. smith4498 (825), Miami, Florida, USA Mar 6, 2008 Pours cloudy golden color with huge white head. Citrusy aroma (lemon?). Mildly sweet flavor with hints of yeast and some banana and other fruits. Light to medium body with crisp carbonation make this an easy one to drink. It seems to going pretty quick. A very good saison. mansquito (819), Boston/Philadelphia, USA Mar 6, 2008 Quickly descending head and a pale slightly cloudy body. Citrusy aroma with a spicy tinge. Citrusy taste is there with a slightly more bready (I guess) or yeasty finish. Not dry at all like a tripel. I think I spotted a raspberry flavor in there as well.
