Commercial Description:
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

12 oz..poured a golden yellow w/ frothy, white head. Aroma of citrus (lemon), spice, banana, yeast...Tasted like citrus, white grapes, and sweet bread. I was surprised it didn’t have many earthtones... Moderately carbonated, alcohol disguised well, very light mouthfeel. Easy to drink, and very refreshing. Great Florida summer beer...Can’t wait to purchase more.

750ml Bottle. Pours bright yellow, tall thick snow white head. Spicy aroma typical of Saison style. Alcohol not prevelant in the mouth, nice crisp beer. I will try and imitate this brew at home, I like it.

Bottled. Poured yellow, bright rocky white head, good lace, slightly cloudy. Aroma is fruit, yeast, lemons, floral. Flavor is tart, spicy, sfot malt, hop biiter, well-balanced and refreshing. Mouthfeel is light to medium, carbonated, balcned with a dry, slightly tart finish.

12 oz bottle. Pours a light hazy orange. Aroma is spice and citrus. Taste is very good - citrus, spice, and yeast. ::: Second sampling with Pat. This is similiar to the first time I tried it however there is a more dominant flavor of alcohol - that stings the mouth slightly.

Pours cloudy golden color with huge white head. Citrusy aroma (lemon?). Mildly sweet flavor with hints of yeast and some banana and other fruits. Light to medium body with crisp carbonation make this an easy one to drink. It seems to going pretty quick. A very good saison.

Quickly descending head and a pale slightly cloudy body. Citrusy aroma with a spicy tinge. Citrusy taste is there with a slightly more bready (I guess) or yeasty finish. Not dry at all like a tripel. I think I spotted a raspberry flavor in there as well.

This is an extremely good beer, golden colored, some citrus, lemon, and spices, with a lot of carbonation. The blend of flavors is subtle and complex. This is the kind of beer that will make someone a beer drinker. In fact, it did just that when I shared it with a friend of mine. I am going to get some more of this and introduce it to some others too.

Golden with big white creamy head. Aroma is too sour/yeasty for me. Taste is spicy yeast with bad after taste. Compared to Dupont, this is poor in my opinion.
