COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

Bottle. Pours a clouded pale golden yellow with a white foamed head. Lovely Belgian yeast aroma. Flavor is light but lively with a good amount of carbonation. Nice fruity aftertaste with a touch of tartness.

The body is a bright, almost neon yellow with a thick foamy white head that gets thin. Alot of sparkly carbonation and a huge amount of lacing. The nose is rather bland with asome sweet honey, ctrus, light wheaty malt and a hint of grassy hop. The taste has a sweet honey taste and lemon rind citrus note with light wheat malts. The finish has a light Belgian yeast with estery notes and a slightly spicy, grassy hop finish. Overall, a very sweet brew that gets better the more you drink. More of a yeast presence and spicy hop with more fruity esters as you get to the bottom of the bottle. A medium body with a slick mouthfeel and a chewy malt. Overall, great brew!

a rather uninteresting Saison. Any Saison is easily drinkable, but this one is not very interesting to me. Not very impressed, that being said I wouldn’t turn it away if handed a glass.

much lighter in taste than I like, but a good summer beer overall. Some citrus notes.

Bottle conditioned. Similar to Duvel, but better. Hoppy, fruity, champagne, chocolate, alcohol, vomit. Pale gold body with a decent fluffy white head. Sweetish with alcoholic harshness. Some lactic tartness. Refreshing. Long contemplative dry finish. Moderate carbonation. I’d pair this with a nice smelly cheese.

Poured a murky golden hue. Smells of raspberries and tastes like fresh fruit. The carbonation washes your palate clean. Had this with some spicy stir-fry and thought it was a great match.

Bottle. Pours cloudy light amber with a nice off white head leaving lacing. Aroma is fruity, peaches, malty, a bit sweet and citric. Flavor much like aroma, has a nice bitterness. Very fresh and drinkable. Finishes fruity bitter.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a large white head mostly lasting. Nose is yeast, bread, spices and citrus. Nice and creamy on the palate, the taste is slightly sweet with bread, spices, citrus and a light hop note that extends the flavor. Very pleasant and easy to drink. Pairs well with cheeses and fruits.
