Good carbonation and solid mouthfeel. Tastes like a really solid hefe - wheat, bread, bananas, clove - but a little stronger. Really nice brew. BlackForestCO (820), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

Aroma of fruity esters (banana) and yeast. Semi-sweet, spicy, estery flavors including banana and soft citrus fruits contributed to the taste. Just the right amount of carbonation. Refreshing taste, definitely a solid saison. TikiE (360), Sylva, North Carolina, USA

A bit too much for my liking, but it grew on me as i drank it. Worth having once and a while EricE (456), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

Clovy aroma with hints of banana and tree fruits. Sweet fruity flavor with lots of yeast. Spicy with cloves and a little sourness. Bitter finish with a surprising hoppiness. Alcohol is hidden well although the label seems to contradict itself as to how much is actually in it. KnN (721), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA

Not wonderful, but not terrible. Probably don’t want more than one at a sitting. I was glad to be splitting the big bottle 3 ways. tgncc (810), Bellmore, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 17, 2008 A pale yellow appearance, thick head, lots of carbonation. The aroma is yeasty, VERY spicy, with citrusy hoppiness thrown in. The flavor is strong, orange peel, coriander, but the strong carbonation I found a little harsh. Lots of lingering on the palate: spicyness and a little bitterness. Good finish, very crisp. Thin to medium mouthfeel. Very nice beer.
