COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

Lots of co2, frothy white head. Lighter color with some yeast. Smooth creamy drink with clean finish. Wish there was a little more depth..seems like a great boat beer

Rating a beer, or any beverage, is necessarily subjective. I found this beer to be tart, bitter, and unpleasant, despite the previous ratings. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Got from the Whole Foods Market in Northridge Served in a Tulip Glass Appearance - pale straw like color. Hazy, with plenty of carbonation, and about a finger of moderately diminishing head Aroma- floral citrusy hops. Belgian candied yeast. Banana and spice Taste- fruits like banana, pears, and apples. Candied sugar and clove spice. Mouthfeel - light to medium bodied. Plenty of carbonation slight dry finish. Crisp! Overall- great example of the style that I would definitely recommend. Very refreshing

Above average saison that someone got for me because they thought Hennepin was referencing Hennepin county in Minneapolis MN

Bottle - Sweet yeast, a little boozy and banana. Clear gold with a frothy white head. Primarily booze and yeast with some slight sour notes. Aftertaste is a slight burn from the alcohol and bananas. The alcohol I taste throughout is just not my cup of tea, or beer.

this is a Saison without the intense barnyard funk of many bolder saisons. Complex yet very drinkable.

Poured a cloudy light golden color with a big white fluffy head and good lacing. Fruit aromas like apple and pear with Belgian yeast and spice. Taste of light fruit with clove and spiciness. Nice earthiness with a bit of funk and slight alcohol taste. Medium bodied with with high carbonation and semi dry finishing is drinkable. Good saison that has Belgian pale ale characteristics. ---Jeremy H

Pours clear, high carbonation, light straw with large 3 finger white head Aroma grassy hops and light flower blossom wheat Starts laid back sweet coriander into light spicy ginger with background of orange peel (not sweet) then flips back to a finish of sweet dry yeast, minimal aftertaste of hints of dry ginger and orange peel. Not as high carbonation as appearance.
