| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 5, 2009 [Bottle] Pours a darker golden color with a small amount of sediment. Sweet malts and yeast in the aroma. Taste is slightly funky, but with far more citrus. Lemon and crisp grapefruit notes. The alcohol is noticeable. High carbonation. A pretty good beer, but not everything I was looking for in a Saison. ScottyP (314), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 5, 2009 Pours a slightly cloudy golden with thin white head. Aroma of yeast, banana, spice, lemon zest. Very little funk for a saison. Similar taste with a slight tartness. Very light and crisp finish. Butters (1637), Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Aug 5, 2009 750ml bottle split with barrios, scottyp, curly, and mmmckay. Pours a wonderful hazy yellow straw with decent bright white head. Lightly bready nose with just the mildest farmhouse funk, and a lemony note. Some floral hops in the flavor add a nice spicy note in the flavor. Moderately high carbonation gives a great chewy body with lots of effervescence. And a lightly bitter chalky lemon rind finish. Very awesome saison. Very refreshing. drowland (1380), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 5, 2009 Got this off of a single-bottle rack, and I wonder if it had been there awhile... slight skunk on the nose and a hint of alcohol astringency. Otherwise the aroma is mainly esters and yeast bite. The flavor is definitely belgian, but just not spicey or complex enough for the style methinks. ericandersnavy (1051), crossroads, Texas, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 1, 2009 Being new to the style, I can’t say how it compares to others. I will say it is a very enjoyable beer. Pours a pale golden color with a frothy white head. Nose is earthy...a funky yeasty taste is in the flavor as well. Fruity and tart with a nice mouthfeel. A very enjoyable brew. tmoreau (547), Lombard, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 31, 2009 On tap at John’s Buffet in Winfield, IL. Served in a Hennepin chalice with an orangy gold color, foamy white head, and solid, then web-like lacing. The aroma was some yeast, light malt, and hints of spice and light fruit as lemon zest. The flavor added some moderate bitterness, creaminess to the tongue and a light, dry finish. Very nice.
