COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

Golden yellow with a fluffy white head. Aromas of citrus, lemon grass, wet hay, bready dough. Lightly effervescent, citrus up front, rolls into a slightly spicy dough and finishes clean with a slight lingering bitterness that is reminiscent of lemon grass. Medium light body. Very nice.

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2014 Hazy bright yellow with white head. Very crisp with light fruitiness. A little tart, with some malt in the finish. Pleasant Belgian spice. Super drinkable and refreshing. Very nice summer drink. Some lemon. Might pair well with grilled meat.

First aroma is skunky but has fruity undertones. Pours murky straw with a white head. First taste isn’t that special, but it finishes with good fruit flavors.

When poured into my glass the appearance is golden yellow with a hazy body. A wonderful three finger head builds from lively carbonation. The head slowly fades back leaving nice lacing on the glass. Its aroma is fruity and floral, citrus and nice light spice. The flavor of light malts, citrus and clove hits you first. Then earthy yeast and complementary citrus and floral hops leads you to a sweet and sour finish. Well balanced, medium body and very refreshing.
