COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

12 oz-Poured light with a great head. A slight taste of hops with a mix of spice. Not bad.

I think I was expecting too much from this beer, after just having had the Ommegang and decided it would be my first 5.0 rated beer. Thick sticky looking head. Tastes spicy and citrusy. Was it more body I was expecting? reminded me a little bit of a hefe.

Good beer. I had it after a long workout and it was great. The head was very light almost like a meringue. Crisp flavor and a great color. Iím adding it to my summer beer list.

Not a big fan of this, not sure what the brewery was trying to do here. Taste is decent: banana, citrus and cream. Try at your risk.

Amazing fruitiness and herbiness in the aroma. Slightly cloudy, golden appearance with a pillowy head. Nicely high level of carbonation on the tongue. Tastes wonderful! Has a moderate funkiness to go with the fruity and herbal notes. One of my absolute favorite beers.

Golden color with lots of long lasting head. Aroma is hard to figure out, little fruit. Nice flavor with hops and little fruit. A good beer but definitely not one of the better Belgium out there.

As with any beer Iíve rated on this site, this was another top notch contender. Citrusy/spicey aroma with a hint of alcohol smell. Pours as close to gold as I imagine you can without actually pouring the metal and a foamy white head. Taste was full and improved with warmth. Carbonation was a bit much sometimes but I truly cannot complain. Poor slow though BTW, it gets head QUICK.

Pours a light golden color with a big white head. Aroma of hops with a little fruit. Very smooth. A nice beer on a hot day. Will drink again.

Bottle. Ppoured a hazy pale gold color with a thick white head. Aroma of yeast and citrus. A ting of sweetness but the alcohol was over-powering. Do not know if I have a bad bottle or not. It was only ok for me.

* tried it at a beer meeting with several other beers, hence I don't remember all my comments - only the ratings which I wrote down at the time.
