3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
I poured it from the bottle into a red plastic cup. It’s a party. It pours a cloudy golden and orange color with a big, white, and fluffy head. The aroma is orange, spice, and bread. The taste is orange, spice, banana, and Belgian yeast. I’m a big fan of both Ommegang and Saison. This did not disappoint.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
4-pack at the LCBO with 7.7% ABV. Pours a cloudy golden colour with some nice tiny particles in the bottom of the glass. The head is fluffy, white, decent lasting and foamy lacing. Orange nose with some Belgian Ale yeast. Same for the taste with decent mild hops in the finish with hints of grass. Nice and smooth saison that goes down easily with lots of citrus.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home. It pours cloudy golden with a decent fluffy white head. The nose is soft, doughy, cereal, fruity, spicy action, herbal, grassy, nougat, banana, orange rind, brioche and toasty grain. The taste is smooth, doughy, crisp grassy bitterness, spice, ripe banana, apple, pear drops, some alcohol boost, orange peel and toasty grain with a dry, spicy finish. Medium body and moderate-high foamy carbonation. True to style and could easily pass for a Belgian creation. Tasty.

Bottle into a tulip glass. Pours a clear light yellow, with a huge fluffy white head that persists. Good lacing. Nose is faint aroma of Belgian yeast and light malt. Taste is lightly malted grain and Belgian yeast notes of cloves and bananas. Mouth feel is medium, and the finish is crisp and dry. Nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bright gold body with a tight bubbled white head. The nose draws in wheat, yeast, spices. The tongue shares that experience with the additions of white pepper and coriander. A rock solid saison.

This is WAY too boozy for the style. Sharp grain alcohol taste over some spicy and maybe some fruity and straw notes.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a slightly cloudy straw-gold color with a medium thick white head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Yeast, cloves and fruit in the nose. Medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, coriander, toasty malt and citrus. The finish is fruity with a floral yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
