Commercial Description:
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

Thanks to dpjuart for sharing. Clear gold body with a rich, frothy white head. Floral, perfumy aroma with some farm, bread, citric and wort notes. The taste is fun, light, and crisp, with some bread and floral, almost dandelion notes. Easy, smooth, quaffable, and delicious. Finishes dry and crisp with tons of bubblegum

Pours a bright, orange/gold into my glass. Very effervescent with a huge head. . Smell is fruity with nice, spicey clove overtones. Taste is amazing. Very light and refreshing. Distinct Belgian golden ale flavor. Slightly fruity with a spicey hop finish. Mouthfeel is exceptional. Never thin, this one isn’t too thick either. There is just enough body to let you know you are drinking a quality beer but it also is dry and refreshing at the same time. Very light on the palate but with lingering flavors as well. Very balanced.

Had in a large snifter type glass from a tap. Served cooler than room temp. Came in a glass with a golden hue with a little orange tint - white head a little thin - probably because it was on tap and a little colder than room temp. Smelled like citrus and fruit but not overpowering with a little bit of floral and yeast coming through The taste was excellent a little bit of citrus but not too much fruit - excellent balance between not being to sweet or too bitter- very well balanced with alcohol After the first sip I thought it might open up into a more syruppy sweet Belgian type taste but it never got too sweet and kept its tightness and crispness. A great balance between being light but with body. Nice amount of carbonation - not too bubbly but not flat at all -The taste keeps going in your mouth after each sip. Perfect beer for a relaxing day or evening. Goes down smoothly and able to savor for a while - wouldn’t drink too quickly.

750/Corked/Caged. Pours a beautiful gold into the glass with a healthy white head and tons of tiny bubbles. The aroma is really spectacular with lots of earthy and floral notes. On first sip this beer immediately wins a place in my heart. It’s absolutely delicious with a nice crisp and refreshing flavor that really delivers. This beer has a strange mouthfeel that I really love. As you take a sip it seems to immediately expand in your mouth forcing you to swallow. Really an excellent beer and very moderately priced for how good it is!

I’m a saison kind of dude, and I like this better than a lot of the Belgian saisons. Golden with a fluffy, white head. Faint straw, yeast and green apples aroma, flavor is mildly bitter just a touch sweet; includes green apple, yellow appleskin, black pepper, lemon. Finish is dry and yeasty with just a touch of alcohol noticed. Dry and lively but still refreshing. Well-balanced all around and just damn tasty.

Pours a golden color with a huge fluffy head. Aromas of dark fruits and bread dough. Spicy and well balanced. Great Saison. Keep kicking tail Ommegang.
