Tingly, cloud-like carbonation; somewhat lightish on the tongue. Although, down "below," a silky-smooth malt texture coated my tongue here and there. Moderate flavors of orange, alcohol, yeast, and Oatmeal curiously enough. Overall, flavors mingled well, and nothing really overpowered anything else. Probably my favorite Ommegang brew. jah noth (1023), Rochester, New York, USA

Malty and lemony with a bit of doughy flavor mixed in. A terrific bargain and a great way to introduce someone to the style. mickblueeyes (106), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 8, 2004 This cloudy, honey-gold beer has a bright, white head. The nose is yeasty with loads of heavy, sweet malt and light undertones of citrus hops. A slight touch of mustiness as it warms. The palate is medium-bodied with warm bread, soft fruits and light spice. The finish is once again yeasty, but semi-sweet with velvety malt and old lemons. SDbruboy (1833), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 7, 2003 12 oz. bottle. Poured cloudy and the color of ripe apricots. Nice white head that dissipated to a thin creamy layer that lasted and lasted. Aroma is fruity, spicy and yeasty - orange, peach, cardamom and hops. Delicious maltiness with lots of fruit, citrus hops and sharp spiciness that lingers in the finish. Medium body with pleasant carbonation. I find that I'm getting more fond of Belgians with each one I drink. spkldhenlvr24 (467), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA

Took about 10 minutes to fully pour this beer. A light, hazy orange/golden appearance with a huge cream colored head. Good lacing. Aroma was very yeasty, with slight alcohol and fruits. Flavor kinda bursted out. Tasted of oranges, yeast, hops. Good mouthfeel.
