COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

Bottle after all these years. Dusty nose of yeast and autumnal leaf dust, sweet honey and floral notes. Pours lightly hazy golden with a rocky, pillowy white head. Taste is dry with some alcohol seeping through, heavy focus on the yeast with a little bit of rubber hose, but not as much as the honey or rose hips. Really nice floral overtones without the sweetness, wild and rustic tasting. Medium-full with perfect carbonation. Classy, does all the little things right, and it’s a happy thing that not all of this type need be overburdened by hops and caramel malt.

Banana and spice Taste- fruits like banana, pears, and apples. Candied sugar and clove spice. Mouthfeel - light to medium bodied. Plenty of carbonation slight dry finish. Crisp! Overall- great example of the style that I would definitely recommend. Very refreshing ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours a clear golden with steady but slow bubbles and a huge head. The nose has citrus, yeasty-malt and a hint of spice - typical saison. The taste is fresh and grassy with citrus and a more obvious spice thing going on. The palate is medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long enduring finish. Overall, a good example of what a saison should do.

Drank in tulip glass poured from bomber. Aroma - belgian yeasty aroma. Typical beligian style beer. Appearance - golden yellow with very frothy head. Taste - sweet first taste with beligian blonde aftertaste. Bready with some spice. Palate - explodes with froth in mouth. Nice flavor though. Overall - better than most belgian style beers but still not my favorite.

Huge head, mild spices, you don’t taste any alcohol, no kick to it in any fashion. Does have a floral aroma, good hop taste. Needs to be a little more spicy for me. It sure is a gorgeous blonde though.

Goodness, what an impressive saison. So balanced, some great citrus, and it works so well with Ommegang’s yeast strains. I could drink this every day and not get bored.

750 bottle, pours a straw pale gold, with a large frothy head. Ripe fruit aromas with some spices and citrus. Soft mouthfeel. Starts with sweet pear and other fruits, some 7up flavors in the finish. Clean. A little sweeter than I would prefer for a Saison. Not quite dry enough.

On tap. Pours a pale straw gold with a fluffy eggshell head that settles slowly to a film and leaves some soapy lace. Nose involves zesty, peppery spice, lemon and grapefruit citrus notes, and rustic, dusty yeast. Lightly sweet, some bitterness, and a fair tartness make for a refreshing flavor mix. Lighter bodied, fairly active, with a peppery, spicy cleansing dry finish. Very enjoyable. I appreciate the dryness and all the yeasty spice along with the hop notes. Nicely put together.

Aroma packs a generous load of peppery spiciness backed by a touch of citrus and some herbal, earthy notes. Flavour adds a touch of candyfloss sweetness, if anything a bit to sweet for a saison
