This hoppy, farmhouse style ale has a champagne like effervescence with a crisp but light on the tongue finish. Similar to the Belgian Saison style , this beer serves well as an aperitif. Hennepin has a majestic golden hue. The style is called Grisette or farm house and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons.

Bought a 4-pack. In a glass it looks wonderful, leaving attractive lacing. Aroma is lemony fresh with a hint of soft Carmel and other neat finds. The flavor is good, but hindered with a yeast flavor. Once I got by that though it was very pleasing. This price was $10.50 a 4 pack. For me, too costly but most likely worth every penny.

Pours a hazy yellow with a creamy medium white head. Aroma has earthy hops meets apricot with some wheaty and peppery spice...hint of clove. Flavor follows suit...tangy fruit up front and nice dry spiciness. Mouthfeel is light/medium and the finish is earthy/fruity/spicy and dry.

Bottle 33cl from Mondial de la Bière. A cloudy yellow beer with medium head. Nose is on grapefruit and yeast. Aroma is on sweet malt, astringency, orange zest, orange peel, grapefruit, lot of yeast notes. Finish is bitter and astringent with long duration.

Possibly the first saison which I've liked. It's visually amazing. Smells good and tastes lovely. If it wasn't 7.7% I could drink this all day. And night. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This delicate tasting , light yellow ale is fine. The flavors are complex, with several herbs being apparent. Medium hoppiness and a light body make this a good afternoon drink.

From a bomber. Pours a cloudy golden and forms a frothy, thick head that dissipates after a short while. Almost champagne-type bubbly. Smells of fresh hops, lemons, and spice. Tastes of fresh hops, citrus, grass, and spice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice saison. Fruity esters and wheat aroma. Very earthy. Golden Chardonnay color. Light palate with a tartness and good carbonation. Tart fruit flavors followed by a grainy and grassy essence. Slight alcoholic tint at the finish. Lingering.

Bottle from beer gonzo. Hazy straw colour with a good frothy white head. Aroma is fruity and Belgian yeast. Fruity - mostly pear - with a slight tartness, noticeable coriander spicing and a dry finish. Not too much pepper or bitterness. Very easy drinking for 7.7%. Before this, I’ve only tried Three Philosophers from this brewery, which is absolutely awesome. This ain’t bad either.

Pleasant aroma that does not deliver on the taste. Tart and astringent with a fair bit of yeast.
