3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap @ Provisions Market. Finally getting around to trying this. Clear golden-orange pour with a white head. Really zesty lime and lemon aromas. Clean, bready malt, cracker, and a bit of grass clippings. Slight pear juice. Mild sweetness on the palate. Good bread and malt flavors all the way through. Pleasant lime zest hop character, a bit of grass, and a crisp bitterness. Hints of pear, flowers, and white pepper. Good.

Man this stuff is freaking good. Poured with a huge long-lasting cream colored head with lots of lace and a hazy amber color. Aroma is resin hop yeast malt spice. Flavors like aroma more like an IPA. Great body. Super drinking beer.

Served in a tulip glass on the guest pump at James Gate in JP, Boston. A really lovelly beer (making up for the poor quality food at James Gate!). Slightly hazy, lovelly hoppy aroma, has something of a hint of Wit beer crossed with a Pale Ale about it with perhaps a slight spice note. I will be trying this one again.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
More Belgian pale ale than American. Good balance of yeasty zest and bitter piney earthy hops. I’m pretty excited when Ommegang puts out a newb and this is no exception. Feel is nice for the style. Well carbonated with a nice bite. I’ll get again

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Super cloudy and orange with floaties all over. Foamy sticky head. Bitter beer. Belgium style dominant but the crazy hops bring in the IPA side. Don't love it or hate it. Big beer for 6%. Had this on draft at Jerry's in Andersonville, part of a flight.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a hazy medium gold with a huge billowy white head. I made the mistake of pouring this a bit too fast and was very surprised at the amount of head. Excellent head retention with huge chunks of lacing.
Aroma is very spicy and 100% Belgian as should be expected from Ommegang. Lots of coriander with hints of orange and lemon peel and lots of yeast. Some light bready malt in the background.
Flavor is very spicy, more so than I was expecting. Tons of coriander like the aroma but I can also pick up what seems like ginger. Light orange peel and peach. The malt is very hidden and really just about buried under the yeast esters. Some caramel and cracker. Mouthfeel is smooth with abundant sparkling carbonation. Crisp clean finish.
Overall, another great beer from Ommegang. I’m not sure this brewery even makes a bad beer. While the yeast could be tuned down a bit, all around it is quite nice.
