4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750mL bottle from Olive Tree Market a couple of months ago. Clear golden with a two finger rocky eggshell head, great retention. Lots of dry fruity Belgian yeast--slightly unripened banana, pear, some dusty white pepper, and some dry biscuit malt. Flavor adds a bit of a citrus lemon note--kinda Sorachi Ace-esque. Nice spicy pepper, bitterness peaked at a 3 in the bone dry finish. Moderate carbonation with a light to medium body. Pretty tasty.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2014 26.06.2013, tap @ The Cannibal NY:
Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fruity, light malts, yeast, citrus, dried fruits, hay, grass, citrus peel, flowers. Taste is slightly dry, light malts, hay, yeast, citrus peel, grass, leafs, flowers. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel, a little overcarbonated. Not bad, but it could have been a lot better.

Pours a clear golden yellow on tap with fluffy white head that leaves moderate lacing. Aroma of is Belgian yeast and spicy esters, nice lemon citrus note, and a good earthy hop kick. Taste follows, less of the citrus and more of the yeast. Solid, but nothing mind blowing.

Bottle shared by Skyview. Thanks Bob. Light Belgian ale. Yellow color. Lots of Belgian yeast, and well carbonated. Fairly dry and effervescent. Good.

Bottle from a few days ago. Writing this review after a few days, kinda slacking on it. Very sweet, peppery, a little bit of light fruit. Definitely strong on the Belgian yeast like their beers tend to be.

750ml bottle.from lcbo. Hazy pale yellow, explosive off white head that eventually settles. Wheat, some citrus, banana, fizzy, light spice, faint alcohol. High carbonation, mild+ body, becomes quite dry, more alcoholic then I expected, not too bad.

Clear golden color with a thick white head. Aroma is hay with mild banana. Flavor is very delicate, like a very dry white wine with a decent yeast presence. Clean, crisp with a light sweetness in the finish.

On tap at Biercraft on The Drive in Vancouver. Served in a small tulip glass. I think I just passed some milestone here in paying $12 for a draft beer. Is it worth it? We shall see.
A pale cloudy orange in colour, with a bit of whitish head. No nose available initially due to the maximum fill on the glass. Maybe later.
Taste impressions are citrus, spicy and wheaty. Very Belgian in style. Very nice.

750 mL bottle. Hazy gold-brown with a medium, sticky, white head. Smells a lot like La Fin du Monde. With extra banana. Taste is smallet thought. And drier. And less fruity. But still pretty good for a 6.5% beer. Nice drinker.
