Collaboration with HBO for the Game of Thrones series.

Blonde ale with malty sweetness and a touch of fruity spiciness, Noble Hops aromas and notes of citrus. Suitable to serve to kings, or pretenders to the iron throne.

Pour slowly so as to not disturb the yeast sediment, but with enough vigor to create a luxurious head and release the rich bouquet.

750 mL bottle. Hazy gold-brown with a medium, sticky, white head. Smells a lot like La Fin du Monde. With extra banana. Taste is smallet thought. And drier. And less fruity. But still pretty good for a 6.5% beer. Nice drinker.

On tap at McNellies. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has light wheat and flora with a backing grassy note. Flavor has a good amount of clove with sweet wheat and a bit of grass and banana.

Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Sweet caramel and yeast aromas. Sweet tropical fruit and yeast front to back.

Bottle from LCBO. Pours cloud amber with a white head. Aroma of banana, cinnamon, and other spices. Taste of light spice, banana, and booze. Big smooth body. Pretty good, despite the gimmickiness.

Poured from the bottle. Golden color with white head. Aroma is slight Belgium. Taste is also slight Belgium, with a light mouthfeel. Pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 ml bottle. Opaque pale yellow, big foamy off-white head slowly settles. Lovely fruity yeasty sweet malt aroma. Tastes like a basic Belgian blonde, fruity and yeasty, sweet and malty and lightly spiced. Lively carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Enjoyable and well made, but hardly worthy of the Iron Throne, more of a Kingslayer Blonde Ale. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

transparent gold, thin white ring, oily top. Dusty nose, light citrus and pepper. Flavor equally soft, wheat in and out. Well carbonated, balanced throughout, estery and simple but well brewed.

Malty sweet with a distinct Belgian spiciness. Some citrus notes as well. High carbonation, but not in a bad way. Pretty good overall, not my favorite style but certainly worth drinking. Took forever to find the goddamn thing though, I had to order a beer that’s brewed three hours away from me from a store in California. Go figure.

Pours a nice copper/orange color with a white forthy head that lasts a good long while. Aroma is nice of yeast, average sweetness, orange, malt, bananas. Taste is medium sweetness with some spice/clove, fruit esters, malt and a little yeast. More of a fruity finish but not much. Medium body with a soft carbonation. Overall a solid beer.
