Tasted @ Ghent. Pours very clear yellow to golden. Big white, dense head. Sweet fruity nose, lots of esters. Banana and ripte almost rotten fruit aroma. Flavor and palate more dull and average. Overall not really bad, but not what you’re going to look for further on.

Blond bier met grote witte schuimkraag. Geur: gistkarakter, brood, licht kruidig en ietwat citrus. Smaak: licht bitterig, kruidig, wat metaal en ietwat zoetig. Goede koolzuurprikkel. Medium volmondig. Afdronk: licht zoetig en bitterig.

Olelko (23) - FRANCE - MAY 24, 2016
Strong beer with a heavy body, that takes a lot of your mouth. Charles Quint fears nothing and is shameless. Strong taste of caramel and cereal, but nothing surprising. The light "straw like" colour is OK but doesn’t give the beer any character. The worst aspect of all: it’s a soapish taste and foam, a bit disgusting.

Extremely pale body, large bubbly head. Soft lemony, faint grassy, light sweet (American style) bread. Soft bitter yet some sharp tasting notes too. Much less nice and refined as expected. In fact almost watery. Huge disappointment. (33cl bottle from Dekoninck)
