Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 4, 2007 Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of fruit, but also with a light notes of brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet malty with quite strong notes of fruit and citrus as well as light notes of milk, leading to a dry spicy finish. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 2, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Slightly hazy, pale golden with a white head. Vaguely tart, citrusy nose with a whiff of yeast. Medium body with fruity accents and a somewhat astringent quinine-like bitterness. I would’ve thought that the Brett character had developed more by now. It’s hardly noticeable in this bottle. 301107 omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 25, 2008 Updated: Apr 25, 2008Bottled, thanks kmweaver! Pours muddy golden with airy head. Sweaty, lightky citric yeasty nose. Lightly fruit with medium body, some fresh hops mixes with a light touch of Brett acidity. Slimmer and more drinkable than I’d expect an 8% beer to be, yet complex. The funky character drowns a little bit in fruit and yeast though. yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Dec 14, 2007 From bottle, no 26 at Papsoes blindtasting. Pours hazy yellow and with a lacing white head. Grainy to grassy aroma, slight spiced. Fresh fruity and hoppy flavour, slight spiced. Ends spiced and mildly soapy. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Jul 12, 2009 Bottle 75cl. Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head.
