Commercial Description:
Belgian pale & pilsner malts w/ Styrian Golding for bittering and Saaz for aroma. Ginger predominates the spicing. Fermented in primary with Ommegang's house yeast, followed by secondary with Brettanomyces bruxellensis. Dry-hopped in secondary w/ a blend of hops; Tettnang being the stand-out. The flavor profile is very herbal with an earthy undertone (very fitting for a Belgian-style farmhouse ale). The dry finish and pronounced hop aromas hide the 8% abv very well. Dangerously drinkable for its strength and character.

A nice but not great Saison, with many flavors of herbs and spices. The malts are clear and fruits, hops are also floral and herbal. Not their best but decent.

BCTC. Cloudy orange, yellowish head. Nose is lightly fruity with some brett funk. Fruity with an odd oily malt character. Dryish lemony finish. Nice. They should bottle this one!

Bottle with da boys. Pours a clear pale yellow with a diminishing white head. Sweet and some what bitter. Aromas of brett and a hint of feet. Quite high carbonation. Medium to light body. Bitter and bretty finish. Glad it isn’t more bretty.

Pours a bright golden straw with a billowing snow white head. The sides of my Duvel glass are blanketed with lace.
The aroma displays lemon-lime, dust, "horse blanket", and herb garden notes.
Oh yeah! The brettanomyces has taken hold. Very tart. Still, plenty of herbal and citrus character to cut through the brett...for now.
Plenty of body. High carbonation. Damn near bone dry finish.
I feel like I’ve been beat about the head with bitterness and tartness...AND I LOVE IT!!!

Hazey pale body with no head. The aroma is lemon, bread, pepper, corriander and herbal. The flavor is moderately dry, lots of pepper and spice, floral and lemon. Medium/light body with soft carbonation. Where’s the Brett? I want my money back.

Batch 2, around 9 months old. Pours gold with a fluffy white head. The aroma has tart pear, lemon, bretty funk, spices, and floral notes. The flavor is well balanced with a light and dry bretty presence, spices, and just a touch of lemon. Nice tart and dry finish. Very nice.

Bottle from Tytoanderso - Thanks! Pours a hazy yellow with a nice white head. Aroma of spices blended with yeast and malts. Flavor is very balanced with spiciness and a little of that earthiness feel. Very smooth and crisp.
