355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours a bright amber with a very generous head. The nose has intense ginger cake. The taste has ginger biscuits and toffee. The palate is medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long elegant finish. Overall, a good beer somewhere between an American amber ale, a Belgian Dubbel and an English bitter. Interesting.

Le liquide est ambré comme le coucher du soleil avec un moyen col et un anneau de mousse mince.Sans effervescence .Au nez les grains pâles(en poche)beurre de caramel et très légères épices.Au goût,les grains ,le liquide n’à pas de corps c’est comme de l’eau et une finale de caramel léger.Somme toute correct .Pour conclure j’adore l’odeur de cette bière.

Pours an orange red with thick, fluffy white head that slowly dissipates. Nose of spicy banana synonymous with Belgian farmhouse style ales. Great barely thick mouthfeel and a lingering mellow banana finish. Decent brew! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours golden with a large white head. Smells of fruit, yeast, flowers. Tastes yeasty and fruity with some olives. Good beer.

12 ounce bottle into signature tulip glass, bottled on 11/13/2012. Pours moderately hazy and cloudy orange amber color with a nice 2-3 finger fluffy off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Spotty foamy lacing clings down the glass, with plenty of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big banana, pear, apple, orange peel, light caramel, clove, pepper, coriander, floral, bread, and yeast earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast notes with malt and spices. Taste of big banana, pear, apple, orange peel, clove, pepper, light caramel, bread, coriander, floral, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of light fruits, orange peel, clove, pepper, caramel, bread, coriander, floral, and earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic flavor balance and complexity of fruity/spicy esters with malt sweetness and spices; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. High carbonation and medium bodied; with a lightly slick, foamy, and crisp mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic Belgian pale ale! Great flavor balance and complexity; and extremely smooth to drink, even at high carbonation. A highly enjoyable offering.

Flaska på Nya Tröls. Bärnstensfärgad, högt skum. Kola, karamell, russin, honungsmelon och fruktig belgisk jäst i doften. Smaken går i samma stil, men sötma är återhållen. Lätt kropp, kort eftersmak, lättdrucken. roligt och annorlunda öl som jag tycker var mycket trevligt.

Bottle (750 ml). Thanks to Graham for this one! Hazy golden/amber with a medium mostly lasting white head and some lacing. Aroma is of caramel, Belgian yeast, red fruits, malt and some spiciness. Taste is slightly sweet with caramel/malt, red fruits, yeast and slight spiciness. Medium body. Almost watery at times. Good balance and some complexity. Very good Belgian Ale.

Un flacon de 75 cl. Une bière qui montre une robe orangée. Un simple anneau comme représentation mousseuse. Un nez dans lequel des arômes fruités et des épices viennent s’asseoir des céréales légèrement sucrées et poussiéreuses. Sur les papilles, quelques grains doux, des fleurs et cette levure épicée qui sautillent avec une délicatesse de ballerine. Une bouche légère et aérienne : la texture m’apparaît plutôt aqueuse. La finale, comme une mince consolation, propage davantage d’agrumes que d’épices. Je suis ambivalent face à cette bière : suis-je passé à côté de quelque chose ou est-ce type d’ale belge qui commence à me lasser considérablement?

Appearance was clear reddish gold with diminishing creamy white 1/2 finger head, no lacing. Aromas are noble spicy hops with light fruitcake and Belgian yeasts, hints of malt sweetness. Taste are spicy soft herbal hops then soft sweet pale, pils malts. Peach, cherry, date, pineapple are sublime. Palate are soft full creamy CO2 with medium body, diminishing smooth spicy hint of sourness fruity finish. A good golden with delightful yeasts.
