COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rare Vos is flemmish for "Sly Fox," and the name of one of Brussels’ great cafes. It has a sweetly fruity malt character and yeasty spiciness. A fine dose of yeast permits the beer to mature and mellow in the bottle.

Pours hazy amber color with a touch of orange and a 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt with mild spice notes beneath. Medium body, soft finish with a light astringency. Caramel malt flavor with a solid citrus note beneath from the orange peel. A light spice note lingers in the finish.

I like the Belgian style carb. Appearance is nice gold orange color with thick crisp white head. Great retention and lacing. Flavor is grainy initially but finishes nicely. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours unclear brigh golden with a creamy and frothy white head, good retention and lacing. spicy and fruity yeastiness - slightly dusty too, as well as the malt bill with added spiciness and graininess, citrus peel and ginger - zingy and softly astringent, herbal and grassy - along with bitter aromatic herbs, pepper, hint of citrus and tropical notes. bright carbonation, light body, lean mouthfeel, lemony zing and dry grassy-spicy-citrusy finish. enjoyed!

Persistent off-white 3" foamy head w good lacing. Liquid is a clean and even hazy amber. Delicate aroma is fruity yeast-centered. Taste is modest bitter balancing the very mild malt tones, characteristic belgian-style yeast always noticeable in background. Smooth body finishes clean. Very drinkable but not boring session beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light amber color with an orange hue. Aroma is of melon fruits mixed with malt. Taste is clean, easy drinking, with a hint of peaches and apricots in the finish. I miss any spiciness, but enjoY the mellow complex flavor.
