COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rare Vos is flemmish for "Sly Fox," and the name of one of Brussels’ great cafes. It has a sweetly fruity malt character and yeasty spiciness. A fine dose of yeast permits the beer to mature and mellow in the bottle.

Poured into short yard, hazy orange, massive head, complex aroma. Surprisingly light body, fruity spice taste, dry aftertaste. I can feel the belgian/amber take on it. Not bad, but I doubt I buy it again.

Poured a hazy orange/brown with an off-white head. Aroma of oranges and yeast. Fruity notes with some caramel as well. Taste is quite fruity and very tart. A bit over-carbonated. Overall pretty sweet and crisp. Finish has some hops and orange. Pretty good!

Murky amber. Bubble gum and white fruit aroma with a hint of citrus. Lively carbonation. Medium bodied. I’m not nailing down may specific flavors. I defiantly get the Belgian yeast and some sweet malt. I really like this one, it’s complex enough to keep me interested, simple and easy drinking enough to drink several.

Murky pale brown pour. Aroma is fig, cherries and sweet malt. Flavor is soft malt, tart and lightly funked yeast. Finish is smooth and delicious. An excellent and mellow beer with enough character to stand out. Well balanced.

Nice Belgian-style amber. Pour is very attractive; bouquet mild with hints of sweet fruit; taste is well balanced with candi essence; nice brew

Hey! This stuff is pretty darn good. Dark amber/brown w/ a good head. Aroma of spice, caramel, dark fruit, and sweet. Taste has a citrus and Belgian yeast flavor with the finish a type of "high tartness". It’s really good and I’ll continue to be a fan of this brewery.

Pours amber with a decent size head. Aroma of fruit, yeast, bubblegum. Smooth belgian ale that is really easy to drink. Well done.

(Bottle) For my 100th rating, I chose Rare Vos. I have yet to be disappointed by this brewery. This sample hit on every category for me. A truly enjoyable way to arrive at the century mark.
