Aug 12, 2008 Not my favorite offering from Ommegang, but an easy drinking brew overall. Pours a hazy orange with fluffy white head. Fruity aroma with a hint of spicy yeast. Mild flavor in tis one, mostly bread and yeast notes on the tongue. Not much carbonation on the tongue, crisp, clean finish.

Aug 10, 2008 On tap o lot lately at the local. Lighter body than I remember. Unclear reddish brown with a fluffy head. Aroma of caramel and some yeasty spice. A bit of hop presence but a basic easy drinker overall.

Aug 9, 2008 750 ml., Exhuberant head, very long lasting, nice coloration, mild nose, well balanced flavors, but mild to my palate. I don’t get the spiceness mentioned by others. My least favored of the three Ommegangs I have had. Interestingly, when I made sure to get all the yeast, the complexity, not unexpectedly, went way up.

Aug 7, 2008 Bottle (75 cl) at Haket, Göteborg, Sweden. Beautiful amber to mahogny colour, large off-white head. Fruity aroma with peaches apricots, and tangerine, some spicy notes as well. Medium bodied and smooth mouthfeel. Good balance, perhaps a bit short finish.

Aug 6, 2008 Amber-red in the glass. Nice head lasts a while. Bready in the taste and body, which I like. Some spiciness, too; coriander notes, maybe. Nicely balanced beer, and another fine product from Ommegang.

Aug 4, 2008 Pours amber in color with reddish hues. An impressive two inch head forms on the pour and manages to stick around for awhile. Smell is yeasty, bready and a bit musty. Taste is more of they yeasty and bready experience, but there’s a slight metallic flavor as well. Not sure where that is coming from. Very highly carbonated. I’ll let this one sit for awhile and warm up, hopefully the carbonation will die down a bit. Decent beer, but not overly complex by any means.

Aug 1, 2008 Bottle at Bishops Arms, Norrköping, Sweden. Hazy orange/apricot color, white head. Malty aroma, yeasty and with fruity notes. Malty, yeasty flavor, some spices, some bitterness. Decent beer, but nothing I will remember forever

Jul 31, 2008 (Bottle). Fruity aroma. Hazy honey amber color with medium head. Flavor is moderately sweet, full of subtle fruits, and with nice well balanced finish.
