4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 RyanMM (410) - Ferndale, Michigan, USA - JUN 11, 2010
Pours deep amber with a slight rose cast. Very full beige head and nice, large-bubbled lacing.
Aroma is spicy and malty, bready, hints of clove and banana. Velvety mouthfeel, thin but creamy with great carbonation. Perfectly clean finish.
The flavor are mild, smooth and refreshing. Really nice beer.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 beerchugger (709) - North Canton, Ohio, USA - JUN 9, 2010
Deep cloudy copper color with a thick creamy head and wonderful lacing. Very sweet and rich malts with tangy lingering citrus fruits. Belgian spices are aplenty in the nose of this beer. Definitely spicey on the front of the palate, rich sweet malts, brown sugar, and absoft subtle earthiness. Very enjoyable.
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 nittanytide (125) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 5, 2010
Poured amber in color with bubbly, half-finger head. Aroma is faint, with a slight sweetness of caramel. Taste is dried apricot and a little bit of pear on the tip on the tongue. Dry, smooth finish.
4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 RPKLove (105) - Astoria, New York, USA - JUN 3, 2010
Pours an orange-amber with a beautiful, frothy tan head (monstrous if you pour it fast). Aromas of orange peel, sweet bready malts and subtle booze. The taste is sweet, orange is definitely at the forefrunt, lots of citrus with a definite yeasty spice and bittering alcohol. Full-bodied, but easy drinking. Carbonation is very fizzy and lively and the texture is easy drinking slick. I can’t think of a better beer if you’re outside on a hot day. Truly remarkable.

Love the nice amber color, poured from the large corked bottle, poured a very nice head and the flavor was incredible
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 puboflyons (1111) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 1, 2010
It pours a cloudy amber tone with a significant, longer lasting two inch fluffy cream colored head. It comes with an enticing spiced yeast and malt aroma with an inviting roasted bread scent. The mouthfeel is nice and creamy and holds its texture on the tongue. A relaxing, slightly btter taste follows with soft yeast and a slight note of spiced hoppiness at the end. This is just the way I like my Belgian style abbey ales.

Thanks to my step Father for keeping these in his fridge. Pours a deep brownish amber with a thin white head. Fruit, yeast and clove in the aroma. Taste is smooth slightly sweet malt, caramel and fruity Belgian esters.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 IlanMan (1015) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 29, 2010
Bottle. Pour was more of a darker pale ale color than a an amber, even as a Belgian-style. Aroma was very fruity with a great deal of bread and biscuit malt. Flavors were very well blended with a ton of yeasty characters, sweet malt, some bread, light caramelization, and fruit. Very light on the palate but packed with flavor. Nice brew.
