esjaygee (1467), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Apr 19, 2008 Amber with thin off-white head. Aroma of caramel, yeast and spice. Tastes of sweet malt, caramel, yeast and mixed fruit with a dry finish. Boliv (188), New York, USA Apr 15, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy amber/copper color with a two-finger off-white head that quickly fades. Aroma of yeast, esters, caramel, and apricots. Flavor is initially mild with yeast upfront, fading to sweet maltiness and a slight hoppy bitter/tangy finish. Smooth and very drinkable. roebuck (44), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Apr 13, 2008 Pours a hazy orange / yellow color. Nice puffy head. The yeast is easily noticed by the nose. Pretty easy drink overall, I didn’t feel the 6.5% in the slightest bit. jmm635 (249), Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 9, 2008 Cloudy orange in color with a very large, slightly fizzy head. Nice aroma with slightly hoppy smell and taste. Really smooth and easy to drink. changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 9, 2008 A very easy drinking beer. Pours a relatively light amber color with a generous off white head and a bit of lacing. It really does have a great look to it. Aroma was faint but pleasant - that of subtle hops with a sweet spiciness to it. There’s not a ton of flavor but it’s good for the summer. Somewhat spicy, with floral notes, a mild bitter hop bite and some Belgian style yeast. Very smooth and a pretty good mix of flavors. faroeviking (6024), Republica Vikingo de las, Faroe Islands Apr 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy deep orange colour. Yeasty aroma with toasted malt and fruits. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with a mild bitterness, toasted malt, fruits and yeast. bierkoning (5987), La Tropica, Netherlands Apr 7, 2008 Bottle. Pinkish golden color. Apricot and a hint of caramel in the aroma and flavor. Some flowery hops, cookies. Maybe a bit thin. Nice fruity amber ale without any specific character. darkguardian (506), Florida, USA Apr 6, 2008 12oz bottle, pours a cloudy burnt orange with a billowy off white head. Nose is similar to a saison, slightly sour and yeasty with hints of spice. Palate starts off spicy but unfortunately goes nowhere, very flat and watery. Strange and somewhat dissapointing. Finishes with a light hop kick and a very light sourness. Bland with a suprisingly thin and watery body.
