Commercial Description:
Rare Vos is flemmish for "Sly Fox," and the name of one of Brussels’ great cafes. It has a sweetly fruity malt character and yeasty spiciness. A fine dose of yeast permits the beer to mature and mellow in the bottle.

Bottle. Pinkish golden color. Apricot and a hint of caramel in the aroma and flavor. Some flowery hops, cookies. Maybe a bit thin. Nice fruity amber ale without any specific character.

12oz bottle, pours a cloudy burnt orange with a billowy off white head. Nose is similar to a saison, slightly sour and yeasty with hints of spice. Palate starts off spicy but unfortunately goes nowhere, very flat and watery. Strange and somewhat dissapointing. Finishes with a light hop kick and a very light sourness. Bland with a suprisingly thin and watery body.

Bottle. High fluffy but lasting off-white head. Hazy orange body. Herbal hay aroma plus a faint note of soap. Mild and fruity flavor without much hops bitterness but with some spices I cannot quite figure out. General impression is that it feels a bit anonymos. Relatively high carbonation and a short aftertaste.
