Pours a great orange copper with a big, bubbly off white head on top. Aroma is sweet malty, lots of fruit (oranges, apples), some caramel and a good dose of spiciness. Medium carbonation, rather light. Flavour is sweet, yeasty quite light in maltiness. Some distinct spiciness. Really refreshing and drinkable. jdryan (2), USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Hits the fruit balance right on the head, last glass in the bottle had a more distinct yeast taste. Very well balanced, not too strong. WallyWalrus (205), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 30, 2008 750ml bottle. Pours a pale copper color with a billowy white head. Aroma is fruity and malty, with strong notes of bananas, citrus, and coriander along with a strong backbone of malt and spices. Taste is creamy and full, with an initially fruity flavor of citrusy hops and banana giving way to a drier finish of malt, yeast, and spice. A pleasantly light and fruity take on a Belgian ale. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Tall and frothy, this amber has a particularly light and earthy aroma with a deep, nearly mahogany hue.
Actual flavor is rich and sweet with prevalent notes of fennel, sweet peas, yeast, oats, and nutmeg with a long finish.
Due to its sweet nature, enjoy as a digestif with a slice of fruit tart. daknole (2885), Plantation, Florida, USA

This brewery has a good touch in making several beer styles and this is no exception. Malt flavor with some hints of fruit and sweetness. Love the yeast finish. illinismitty (1795), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 17, 2008 Bottle at Cafe Margot in Nashville, TN. Pours orange with a white head. Aroma of belgian esters and sweet wheaty malt. Flavor profile has a subtle complexity. I picked up flavors of honey, pale wheat malt, yeast, exotic fruits, cinnamon, and caramel.. Without looking up the style, I thought this would be a Biere de Garde. The bitterness is well done, with a slight lean to the aggressive side of the scale. There is a nice amount of residual sweetness. Finish is semi dry and yeasty. Good beer. robforbes (1085), Bremerton, Washington, USA

pours a light orange with a medium size foamy off-white head that dissipates to a thin head and hangs out, very good lacing.
smell of sweet fruits, banana, yeast, touch of spice.
taste is fizzy, slight fruit, touch caramel, touch spice, some bitterness in the end, leaves mouth on the dry side. Collint (453), Sylva, North Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 12, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poures a yellowish orange with a thin head. Tons of yeast floating around, too much for me. Taste like a Belgian with sweet citrus and yeast. I gave this one such a low rating because of the over powering of the yeast.
