3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy medium amber color with a 1/4 inch off white head. Nice mild aroma. Faint smell of spices. Not too strong but noticeable. Has a slight tingle of carbonation without being fizzy. A strong clove flavor that is pleasant and isn’t overpowering. No harsh aftertaste. Not bad but could have had a little more variety in the flavor.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: pours with a large beige head, the beer is hazy and a slightly darker gold color with some amber tendencies
Aroma: lemon, spicy, reminds me of a saison,
Taste: lemon, slight sweetness, has a very faint bitter finish
Palate: lively carbonation, minimal bitter aftertaste, medium mouthfeel
Overall: a very Belgian feeling beer, has the yeast that really hides the normal amber flavors, decent

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. Appearance is opaque orange gold with a fluffy off white head. Aroma is very fruity with spicy notes. Taste is balanced with a slight tilt toward the sweet side and orange notes. Palate is smooth and light. Very good beer, a beauty.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at the Urban Tavern The ale poured a slightly hazy amber with a thick off white head and lacing. This is good looking beer. The strange aroma of cloves and toffee greet you. There is a sweet malty spiciness and the taste cloves continues to the end. The medium body ale had average carbonation. The beer improved the more I drank.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle into a tulip glass. Pours a golden amber, with a moderate beige head that leaves good lacing. Nose is light roast malt and some Belgian yeast notes. Taste is malty, but not too sweet, with a smooth finish. Pretty good.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Evernote. Aromas of spicy yeast esters, flowers, perfume, potpourri, some bready bits. Taste is crisp with some chalkiness on the backend. The flavors hit and hold strongly all the way across the finish...although I didn’t care for the intense floral / potpourri parts.

Very good! Reminds me of Orval which is not available where I live. Will drink again and add to beers I like to keep on hand.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft pour is a murky copper with a billowing tan head. Aromas are all Belgian yeast byproducts, mainly banana but also some general fruit. Flavor is pretty similar, maybe a tad too sweet. Thick mouthfeel. Good, easily obtainable Belgianish beer.
