| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2007 Nearly clear dark pink with a noisy head. Spicy, fruity aroma with raspberry and black pepper. Clean and dry, crisp on the palate, perhaps a little thin. LIghtly fruity and spicy. Though this beer may be aged it seems to me that it would be best fresh and on draught. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 5, 2007 Bottle. Pours copper in color with a huge creamy off-white head that leaves huge chunks of lacing. Sweet aroma of fruits and light alcohol. Great mix of malts, spices, and fruits in the flavor. Sweet throughout and a medium body. A nice one to have around! JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA

Taste is sweet with a nice mix of spices and darker-sweet fruits. Overall pretty good. BeerFanDan17 (610), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 2, 2007 Delicious Belgian Ale in the style is supposed to be. Rich and golden, strong and flavorful. If you’re looking for an ale that takes a flavor like Yuengling and runs with it, this is a good beer! rmussman (905), California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 28, 2007 Another good brew from Ommegang. Aroma is semisweet. Appearance is cloudy brown with a nice head. Mouthfeel is so smooth. Goes down effortlessly. Flavor is very malty with hardly any hops. A very nice brew. cathcacr (588), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 25, 2007 Impeccable appearance/head, slightly tart flavor at the outset, nice flavor but not strong. Moderate, somewhat watery palate, finishes dry. Doesn’t particularly stand out on the whole from the other Belgians I’ve had, hence the fittingly bland review. Appearance presents really well, though.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 22, 2007 Nice amber color, big fluffy white head. Smells like a characteristic Belgian ale, that spicy farmhouse I typically hate. Taste is not as bad as I was anticipating, nice spicy taste, but not too much horse blanket (aka pee) to it.
