Spicy and fruity nose; very Belgian. Pretty aromatic. Lots of fruit up front, followed by spiciness at the end. Aftertaste is very pleasant! A bit carbonated, but very slick as it goes down. Another solid addition to Ommegang’s selection. Yummy. I begged my local beer & wine shop to start carrying it. You can say that it is not on par with "true" Belgian Ales, but it has nice flavor, aroma and color and is a pleasure to drink when you want the Belgian flavor with getting knocked over the head with it. grandet (486), Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of a tantalizing concoction of spices, maybe some clove and liquorice in there, never good with naming particular spice notes...fruity notes dash in and out, always too quickly for my nose to name. Sweet malt and spicy/bitter hops take background roles but are noticeable. Flavor lets go of the spices to an extent in favor of a sweet fruit (strawberry-citrus?) generously served over hops. Very, very drinkable, and very, very good. basewars (145), Albany, New York, USA

Aroma of malt and fruit. Taste is fruity and maybe some alcohol warmth. Could drink this all night. unclemike (833), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 24, 2008 Pours amber lightly clouded with a shorrt offwhite head that stays briefly and laces a little. Aromas of caramel apples , some yeast, and light spice. Flavor is caramel apples, yeast and definitely some corriander. Complex for a low alcohol brew and pretty tasty. Light carbonation creamy mouthfeel. Spice finish makes it a little dry there. Pretty easy to drink. Not bad.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 9, 2008 A very easy drinking beer. Pours a relatively light amber color with a generous off white head and a bit of lacing. It really does have a great look to it. Aroma was faint but pleasant - that of subtle hops with a sweet spiciness to it. There’s not a ton of flavor but it’s good for the summer. Somewhat spicy, with floral notes, a mild bitter hop bite and some Belgian style yeast. Very smooth and a pretty good mix of flavors.
