| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 20, 2004 Opaque orange with a decent off-white head. Aroma is fruity and floral, lots of malt character with some yeast and hops in the nose. Flavor is crisp and spicy with a strong yeast presence. Has a hearty mouthfeel. Palate is dry and moderately complex but this is no Chimay Bleu. Mostly fruity malt with a peppery finish and some notes of yeast and alcohol. Overall, this would be an excellent choice of beverage when you want the character of a strong Belgian Ale but not the alcohol. bu11zeye (5715), Frisco, Texas, USA

Pours with a nice creamy head and amber color. Smooth taste, but expect more complexity based on past ratings of this beer. tomxcs (315), Golden, Colorado, USA

Taste was rather zesty with fruit and spices. Tingly and dry. Pretty good; easily drinkable. cbkschubert (2029), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 27, 2007 12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquor - Pours a hazy amber color with a one and a half finger thick off white head. Lively carbonation. Very light lacing. Aroma is spicy esters and light malt. Again, flavor is full of esters and a light malt background. The spiciness of the beer lingers on the palate in a good way. Medium body. A good beer. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 17, 2005 Burnt orange with a decent head that floats nicely atop. Sweet malty aroma. Ok belgian style spun sugar sweetness, but somewhat muted. Ommegang of all american forays into the Belgian style recreates it the most faithfully, but that isn’t always a good thing. There are some uneventful Belgians and this rare Vos while better than decent is uneventfull. BeerBlockaid (548), Jacksonville, Florida, USA

Hints of spice, yeast, and somewhat hoppy, yet still smooth. definately enjoyable, easy to drink. not much thought required. light fruity aftertaste and aroma. slow ride. demitriustown (708), Shelby Township, Michigan, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 11, 2009 12 oz bottle: Aroma is fruity (apples), yeast, bubblegum, spice notes, really fruity and yeasty with some floral hops coing through as well. Appearance is a semi-cloady amber/golden with a very thick white head that lingers arounf forever. Taste is really nice belgian characteristics, fruits, yeast, slow hop backing then changes in the aftertaste to a more cereal type taste. Overall, Pretty darn good stuff in my honest opinion. Cheers! biggcb (464), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 17, 2006 Bottle. Pours a somewhat cloudy orange-amber color. Fair amount of head. Aroma is very fruity (ornage rind), with a good bit malt and yeastiness. All come through in the flavor, with some bittering hoppiness & spices that does wonders to the overall experience. Very good mouthfeel with a nice dry finish.
