Tall and frothy, this amber has a particularly light and earthy aroma with a deep, nearly mahogany hue.
Actual flavor is rich and sweet with prevalent notes of fennel, sweet peas, yeast, oats, and nutmeg with a long finish.
Due to its sweet nature, enjoy as a digestif with a slice of fruit tart.

Oct 7, 2008 KSBF 08- Bottle, Orange hazy copper, small head. Spice and yeast with a light fizzy sweetness. Banana in there with a dry slight bitter sweet finish. Not overly pleased with this one but good overall.

Oct 3, 2008 Decent - has a banana nose full of Belgian Yeasty Spice. Flavor is a sweet malty base with notes of banana, orange, pear, fig and caramel. Ends on a clean finish.

Sep 28, 2008 Pours from 750 ml bottle a hazy orange, forming a rather bubbly foamy head, which dissipated rather quickly. Aroma was of orange peel, spices and herbs. Flavour was of a balance of both fruity tartness and rock candy sweetness. Some yeast and cherry seem to sneak in at the end of this beer. Malts and hops, along with the rest seem to balance out well in this tasty brew, a very decent belgian ale.

Pours hazy orange with short head. Typical Belgian banana and clove aroma. Malt on the beginning turning slightly sour.

Sep 19, 2008 pours a cloudy copper with no head. Aroma is mostly yeast, with some orange and caramel. Flavor is somewhat sweet followed by definite yeast and tartness. Ok palate, good beer.
