Bottled. Compares favorably to a Duvel or Flemish style ale. Pours white, puffy head that thins quickly, leaving nice rings of lace, even in my plastic cup. Color is like a pilsner with a touch more haze. I taste a fine, toasted caramel sweetness, with pleasant nose of coriander, grains of paradise(?), a bit of Curacao orange. Comes in with a slight banana note at the finish. I wish I could've keep this to cellar, but I went a little crazy at the store where I bought this, near our motel. Ended up buying 13 bottles of various micros, and had to trim down to fit in my luggage.

12oz bottle imp. by Mondial de la Bière, bb04/2015. Pours a clean, crisp orange-acajou. Suavely spiced, yet slightly too "clean" pale ale nose, coriander corns, dried orange peel. Missing some yeast-creaminess and organic yeast esters in taste that were not added by the spiced grains: orchard fruits are there, although more like essences on top of a very clean, Us-bitter pale ale, rather than coming from inside the rustic malt bill of a Belgian amber ale converted by hard-working yeast with a will of its own. Somehow not malt-sweet enough. The ethereal, near-air freshener spiciness gave me a slight headache...

I had this at Lincoln Tap House. Pours reddish orange with a white head. Taste fruit, citrus, sweet. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again.

Smooth. A little sweeter than I like, but it’s a very good example of the style.

Transfer from BA review from 11-30-12-
Served on tap in a 10 oz chalice glass
Appearance –The beer is served an reddish amber color with a two finger white head. The head has a decent level of retention, with it eventually fading to leave a nice level of lacing.
Smell – The aroma is a mix of yeast, fruit and spice. A light funky yeast aroma is mix with smells of banana, apple and orange. These are all complemented by some spice aromas of a peppery and spicy.
Taste – The taste begins with a light sour apple flavor upfront. This is mixed with some other fruit flavors of pear and orange as well as some bready tastes. A yeasty taste brings with it a bit more of the sour funk flavor. Grassy and citrus hop flavors enter the taste profile at this time helping to subdue some of the tart flavors. At the end very light peppery taste mixed with some notes of a wheat bread taste come to the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the lighter and thinner side with a carbonation level that is high. The thinner body and the higher carbonation are great for the taste flavors of the brew and allow it to still be very drinkable and favorable without being “tart” overwhelming.
Overall – Ah it was an alight brew and worth a try, but nothing to really go to on great occasion.
