3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Jacksonville, Fl. - Grassroots Natural Market - 12 oz bottle. Slightly hazy, medium copper with a sticky thick white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma has an enticing sweetness to it with some light bubble gum notes, a touch of white grapes, some brown sugar. Flavor is full and bold with some licorice accents, a touch of molasses, some caramel, a hint of bubble gum and a touch of vanilla in the back end, thick rich mouthfeel. Would make a good winter warmer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft @ Amesbury Ale House. Dark hazy amber color with 1/2 inch thick foam that laced well. Nose is mostly Belgian yeast with sugar. Wheat seems to mingle with the Belgian yeast and malt. The rye is subtle. Texture is creamy. Very well balanced. Incredibly easy to drink, my glass was emptied real quick.

Pours a hazy, light amber with quite a bit of head. Smells awesome. Like apples and caramel and cinnamon. Very carbonated. Sweet upfront with a subtle bitterness on the way down. Well balanced and very enjoyable. Will have many more.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly funky belgiany nose with some lemon citrus. Thick persistent head and lacing. Dark burnt orange and cloudy. Tangy earthy malts and dried lemon rind and peppery spice...maybe grains of paradise or white pepper. Nice and complex autumn offering. Would be awesome with any kind of squash soup or a gingery Asian dish or even some grilled salmon.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the Common Table.
The beer pours a golden color with a white head. I get a lot of grain notes in the aroma, with a hint of yeast and some grass. The flavor is fairly dry with a lot of the husky grain notes. I also get some grass and earth from the hops as well as some spices and some yeast. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Like a crisp fall day in a bottle. A golden, delicious beer with a creamy head. The earthy notes of the grains really shine but are well balanced with a mild hop flavor.
