Aroma of grains, a little citrus and some spices. Taste is about the same. I really don’t get any rye whatsoever. Overall, good but not great. I would drink it again, but I wouldn’t seek it out.

Pours a hazy amber with copious amounts of tan head. Nose is very fruity with notes of banana, pineapple, and coriander. The flavor is a nice balance between the fruits and the heavier malts without overly favoring one or the other. A nice beer that would please a wide variety of beer drinkers in my opinion.

Bob had this in his fridge. I almost paid big bucks for a bomber at one point so this was a nice find. Dark amber, a bit hazy. Spicy, yeasty nose, very interesting and good. Hefty full palate. Ry and spice is there, the sour balances this as I don’t detect much going on in the hops department. Very interesting and good. Dry finish.

12oz. bottle. Pleasantly complex aroma, lightly sweet and fruity with notes of golden apple, pear, melon, citrus, honey, light caramel, and a heavy dosage of spicy, peppery, doughy yeast, some hints of clove and banana here as well. Hazy light-medium orange amber color, with a foamy, lasting, large-bubbled head of white and plenty of thick lacing to boot. Flavor profile is gently sweet, fruity and spicy, with suggestions of lemon and spice from the rye, with a tropical fruit blend, estery yeast, faint caramel and touches of bready, grainy malts and faint herbal hop tones appearing late. Bitterness is fairly minimal. Highly effervescent, light and smooth on the palate, no doubt courtesy of the oats, with a medium body. Maybe just another generic Belgian-style ale from this brewer, but a well executed and tasty one.

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours deep amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and pale malts, some spicy rye notes, and floral hops. Flavor the same, with a nice amount of hops and malts for a good balance. Average texture. Not a bad beer.
