2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draught. Dark brown with a thin head. The aroma is weak, underdeveloped. Light chocolate and the cherry is weak and artificial. None of this comes together well. A going nowhere beer. The sugars aren’t full, and in a beer that is going to rely on richness that is a big mistake.

750 c&c from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Light chocolate aroma. Med body more or less. Mild chocolate flavor over some dark fruit and polished dark malt. For me it doesn’t really match the description.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle... Pours new moon black with a mid-sized, frothy, beige head. Fantastic retention. The nose offers chocolate and light cherry with afterthoughts of dark fruits and banana. Medium to full-bodied with lazy carbonation. The flavor is sweet, roasty and chocolaty with a modest cherry component and mild acidity. Finishes tangy, chocolaty and a touch nutty.
