puggy211 (576), cordova, Tennessee, USA Jun 1, 2009 Rich and full of malt. Black cherries, concord grape, a hint of alcohol, but not too much. Good looking beer - dark with good carbonation and nice lacing. skortila (2875), Bunnik, Netherlands May 30, 2009 Bottle @ København Ølfestival 2009. The aroma has apple, grass, raisin, cherries and caramel malts. Hazy, red-brown coloured beer with an off-white, thin head. The taste is sweet, slightly alcoholic, has some sugar and some grass. Well brewed. snakeoilpete (324), Seattle, Washington, USA May 29, 2009 On tap at the Muddy Pig. Pours brown with a decent beige head. Sweet cherry, caramel malts, spicy yeast. Tastes a little weaker than it smells. FrankJohansen (3329), Sabro, Denmark May 28, 2009 Bottle. Brownish colour with a small off white head. Aroma and taste of yeaste, fruits, caramel and spices. Good beer. TampaBrew (746), Tampa, Florida, USA May 25, 2009 Pours a ruby deep brown. Nose is a melody of dark fruits, belgian yeasts, plum, raisin, candy sugars, earthy hops. Flavor is much of the same. Sweet malt flavors mixed with rich fruits. Dry finish. Lovely beer. saxo (3511), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark May 24, 2009 Sample at CPH beerfestival. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are dark fruits, spices, yeast, caramel and malt. Adenila (931), Denmark May 21, 2009 Rating # 16 from the danish beer festival 2009.
The closest ive seen to a classic belgian beer from a foreign brewer. Powerfull fruity/yeasty aroma of raisin and plum with sweet dark suger notes along with berries and some spices. Powerfull sweet and alchoholic flavor in a fine balance. TheCaptain (526), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA May 20, 2009 Bomber- poured a crisp amber red with decent sized off white head. Slight malts, yeast and cherry on the nose. Palate blends with a fizzy malt cherry Lambic style, light and flavorful with some spice but not as sour as anticipated. A well blended drinker and probably a better attempt for me to enjoy a muddled Lambic style. Sorry about the yeast afire!
