ChristianScheffel (4431), Odense, Denmark Apr 9, 2009 Ruby brown with a small and lasting off-white head. The aroma is bubblegum, winegum and spicy - classic quad. Malty flavour with a hint of licorice, and some sherry. Vineous and dry malty finish. Dedollewaitor (3625), Odense, Denmark Apr 9, 2009 75cl bottle @ HJHansen, Odense. Pours cloudy amber with a reddish hew and a small creamy white head. Nose is sweet of yeast, winegums, alcohol, caramel and fruit. Sweet and vinous with some port notes. Warming alcohol. A sipper. Nice! nathan30533 (138), Dahlonega, Georgia, USA Apr 6, 2009 Very wonderful pour. Great color, aroma, everything. Wonderful brew. Will definatly have again and share with a friend. Thanks DJ. morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Apr 6, 2009 12 oz bottle from Total Wine here in Jacksonville, Florida. Pours a nice rich amber/copper/brown color with a little head. Aroma is sugary and some cherry notes. Taste is similar and every drop was drinkable. Wow, a nice beer and the alcohol seemed to be well hidden with this one. drseusszb200 (185), Florida, USA Apr 5, 2009 Poured nice caramel color smelled of alcohol hints of cherry, tasted sweet at beginning faded to nice clean aftertaste with hints of cherry popkow (107), New York, New York, USA Apr 3, 2009 Poured a pale head on top of a tan/cherry body. Aroma was of alcohol masked by caramel. The palate finished with a yeast and touch of cherry which left one with a clean fealing. baraciisch (138), USA Apr 1, 2009 Aroma of brown sugar and alcohol.... Caramel in color... Brown sugar and sweet malts dominate the flavor initially but the distinct flavor of cherries predominate towards the finish... Tartness of the cherries linger on the palate long after the last swallow... Very nicely done by ommegang... drfabulous (1212), Columbia, Missouri, USA Mar 31, 2009 Cherry, dark brown. Lots of alcohol. A rating that should have been done awhile ago.
