| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 6, 2008 Pours a dark, dark red with a fairly good yellow head. Smells of smoked cherries and yeast, comparable to a suttle brandy. It tastes of as a strong abbey ale but with an added sweetness. It was a little much for me. I think it would be very enjoyable as the first beer you have on a really cold night. Rynoplasty (507), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Pours brown with a small cream colored head. Aroma is malty, slightly spicy and a little yeasty. Taste is a nice extremely malty taste with a little bit of toffee aftertaste. Don’t really taste cherries that much, but that doesn’t really bother me. Great beer. IPAGargoyleGuy (139), Troy, NY, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Its a very good beer, but it would be better if the cherry sweetness was a bit less prominent. Otherwise, its extremely full-flavored and well balanced. The flavor stays with it for a while. norsedoc (162), USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Bomber. Slightly hazy medium brown with a dense head. Toasty fruit/nut aroma. Caramel malt and raisin flavor. I was expecting more cherry, it’s hidden in there. Some bitterness and spice on the end. Fantastic beer. SuperDave70 (1157), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Pours a medium brown with a big creamy tan head that lasts. Nice lacing forms on the glass. Hefty dark fruit aromas, most notable cherry. Some spiciness as well, and lots of brown sugar sweetness. First taste is a bit shocking, but it mellows over time. Lots of sweet fruitiness, with a hint of alcohol on the finish. Really really really good. mkgrenwel (420), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Dry and bready. Lots of yeasty esters. Cinnamon, black pepper. Some hidden cherry flavor, but really overwhelmed by the malt and yeast.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Looks great, and smells even better, this gets perfects there. The taste is strong and good, but its too much to really get into. Good for a taste but the whole bottle is alot to tackle. You do get alot of bang for the buck, so that boosts the overall. sethdude (601), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Pours tea-brown with a large tan head. Aroma is great, cherries, citrus, alcohol, baking bread, anf faint all-spice in the bouquet. Flavor starts bready, quickly moving through a woody section, cherries, hop "pepper", alcohol note, and a lingering, rye bread-like finish. Very nice.
