You can smell the cherry’s, and it makes a wonderful aroma. When poured, the head is full, delicious and really tasty. It tastes just sweet enough...you can get the cherry taste, but not overwhelmed by it. The bottle is big, and I’ll admit....I’m a bit buzzed right now because of it. That always makes it better. I’m in love. Godd fruity flavor, more of a cherry taste but not overwhelming. Number one with me so far. ajm (976), Los Angeles, California, USA

The dark cherry flavor is obviously very clear, but the strangest thing I noticed is that the beer seems to evaporate before a developed aftertaste can occur. This is great for smoothness, but counteractive for developing a full flavor. nqualls (1435), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

It’s aroma is not as full as would like, but it is fruity with raisins and spicy figs and oak. It’s a bit alcoholic in the nose as well. It’s visual pleasing with a dark crimson color, with a thin foam head. It’s flavor is wild, very complex, but not complicated arrangement. It takes on a charachter of cognac, with distinct oak flavor. It also is full of dark fruits, figs, raisins, sweet malt, and some alcohol. The feel and complexities change in the mouth to a sweet feel, followed by an oak-warming feel. Their is a vinuousness that lends itself to a wine, but a oak cognac burn that makes everything just come together with unbelievable gusto. bonbonthejon (1), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA does not count | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 19, 2008 A very strong beer with a lovely hint of cherry. Discovered it by accident, definitely glad to have tried it. Indulgence (141), Ajo, Arizona, USA

Aromas of cherries, bread, caramelized fruits of apricots, peaches, dark fruits. Pours a clear dark mahogany stain, almost enough to block the light. Flavor is just as complex as the aromas coming forth, swirling the glass evokes new delights, palate is creamy, oily and crisp with fine effers that tickle the tongue, overall, extraordinary beer. slayer02348 (77), , Michigan, USA

The smell is of cherries, malt and a bit of alcohol. Tastes a bit of tart cherries and chocolate with a tad of malt in it.
