I cant wait to go get myself another bottle. It has a nice cloudy red pour with a fairly big, tan head. The aroma was on the sweet side and filled with ample scents. The chocolate, caramel, and dark fruit stand out. The taste is very similair leaving traces of every taste imaginable. The alcohol was barely noticed, and that is a fairly high alcohol content to hide that well. I think for many beer drinkers it could have been hidden to well but i loved it. sfhc21 (74), Midlothian, Texas, USA

The tartness of the cherries come through right off the bat. Malt sweetness, slight oak notes, and a touch of alcohol round out the awesome aroma. The flavor starts out like the aroma with the cherry tartness. The oak is a little more noticeable in the flavor as well. This beer finishes with a slight alcohol warming and more tart bitterness. The flavor is very original and complex. I enjoyed this to no end. Will have again. Quevillon (1543), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada

Frothy tan head, deep reddish brown color, good lacing. Woody cherry flavors with hints of chocolate and dried fruits. Mellows on the tongue, fairly complex. Light for a quadrupel. Dry on the palate but well balanced. Not overly thick and very drinkable. Good flavor changes and a wide range of flavors. southamptonsam (81), New York, USA
